'Wich Doctor Sandwich Co — Restaurant in Bend

The best sandwiches I’ve ever had, and at prices that are more than fair for the quality and craftsmanship that goes into them. Rarely does a restaurant or food truck make you feel lucky to have the opportunity to dine there - Wich Doctor does exactly that.

The Linda - a crowd pleaser with over the top execution. House pickled peppers, house coconut habanero hot sauce, house smoked chicken… This sandwich has more care and attention than most flagship entrees across the culinary world.

The Three Fingered Jack - the polar opposite of the cliche overlooked vegan menu option. A perfect sandwich for anyone looking for something light, refreshing, and well composed.

The Cedar Street - an obvious win. Shallot jam, Irish cheddar, and tri tip make this sandwich more of a requirement to order than an option.

The Rhoda Yee - a perfect reminder of what great things are possible between two slices of bread. Char siu and hot yellow mustard, two flavors I’ve never seen on a sandwich together, but they fit in so well. Cut the heat with some acidity from the house pickles and you can’t NOT want another bite. Outstanding.

The Lambda - if this is the opening special, I can’t even begin to imagine what is to come. Chef Cody opened the doors to his truck with a masterpiece on the special board. It almost makes me sad that this sandwich will be rotated out, but then I remember there is another amazing creation in the works for next season.

I just had the pleasure of trying The Wich Doctor food truck, and it’s safe to say this isn’t your average sandwich spot—it’s a gourmet experience on wheels.

The Radicchio Salad was a perfect balance of bitter and sweet, with the dressing tying everything together beautifully. The Black Sheep sandwich was an absolute standout—rich, flavorful, and crafted with a chef’s attention to detail. And the Potato Gratin? Let’s just say, if comfort food had a pinnacle, this might be it.

Had the pleasure of trying this relatively new food truck that’s in the Deschutes Brewery tasting room lot. What a treat!! I tried the pulled pork and my cohort had the chicken thigh pressed sandwich. Both were EPIC. I can’t wait to come back and try some of the other sandwiches. The owners are super friendly and went out of the way to make sure our whole dining experience was excellent. Everything is homemade or locally sourced.
