QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Berlin

I have a lot of things to say about this horrendous resteraunt. First I am very mad because my family was coming to eat her and we are vegetarians, we don't eat meat straight forward. Basically, the whole restaurant has food mixed up in the correct places the food is supposed to be. My mom was getting black beans and she saw in her order that there is meat. We are vegetarians so we aren't very affiliated with meat but we can tell if the food is meat or not. My mom didn't wanna eat meat, so she pointed out the meat. The manager of the resteraunt who was serving us the food and she put more beans to block the meat. Then, very disrespectfully, she was asking my mom to try finding the meat when there was. My mom got really mad, told her to trash the order, and walked away. We were still pretty hungry because we were eating at dinner time. My mom asked for them to redo the order, which they did, and they completely messed up the order and also put meat. My mom refused to eat the food, and she had a very bad experience. The staff was very unorganized, and so the manager of the resteraunt was being pretty disrespectful. Also, the manager kept making excuses on how the resteraunt was so busy when we were the only ones there, so I'm guessing 10 people at the restaurant is busy. Now I'm gonna complain about the food. I ordered 3 tacos from the menu, usually when I eat from Chipotle or Qdoba, I get filled up pretty well. Let me just say, worst tacos I've ever ate in my life. The staff their game food in small portions, like I only had to 2 prices of corn on each my tacos, and my whole taco tasted like pinto beans, which they didn't have a small portion of. Don't go to this resteraunt. I don't want you wasting your money for nothing. Yes, the place looks fancy, but I wouldve rather ate at a super dirty place compared to a place that doesn't give me food. This is why I give this...

This used to be my go to location as staff and store were always clean and friendly. Went to pick up food the other night and arrived early. Parked in front and waited for food to be prepared. Was disappointed to witness staff not following appropriate guidelines.

One of the employees that was preparing orders could clearly be seen touching their face and mask and then right back to the food without changing gloves. They were more interested in talking to a friend that was sitting in the restaurant than keeping their hands clean. The employee kept doing this over and over. Food, mask, face, mask, food. They even did it with customers in front of them. Was also grossed out that once my order was finished, it was placed on the rack for pick up. Another gentleman entered the restaurant and grabbed my bag. He took the bag to one of the tables and started to go through it. One of the other employees approached him. Must have been to check the order, realized it wasn't his and then just had him put it back on the rack. I get that this happens and am not a big germaphobe but the fact that the employee saw what happened and had him just put it back rubbed me the wrong way. Especially as we are in a pandemic and cold/flu season.

Sadly will not be back to this location for a long time. Was more bummed out by the kid preparing the order that couldn't keep their hands away from their mask and face!

Update to 5 star review from last year. This location has slowly gone downhill. The food quality is not as good. The portion sizes are smaller. There's new staff which seems to be the problem. They're very disorganized and unfriendly. Used to be able to order online and by the time I walked over my order was on the shelf waiting. Now it's either not ready yet, and it's a long wait, or if it is ready for some reason it's held behind the counter. If you walk to the end of the counter the staff stares at you like you're about to commit a crime. If you ask if your pick up order is ready they act like you're the rude one for making them walk over. Weird.

The food is really good and reasonably priced. It's a way better deal than Chipotle and better food IMO. The restaurant is always clean. The service is amazing. I'll always order on the app. I work in the same shopping plaza, and no matter how quickly I get there, my order is ready. Today, I left as I placed my order. 2 minutes later, I'm walking into Qdoba. There's a couple of other customers in there, and I'm thinking there is no way one of the 3 pick-up orders on the shelves is mine. I felt kinda silly going up to look, considering I just placed the order 3 minutes ago, but sure enough it's there! My overstuffed burrito bowl and chips & queso. I'm not sure how they do it.
