I placed an online order for in store pickup. While I received an order confirmation email, that was the last I heard about my order. Mind you, the order confirmation email mentioned that I would be getting further communication when my order was ready for pickup - cool I thought. The website indicates that items can typically be picked up within 2 hours of ordering. Three days later, after no email following the order confirmation, I called the store. I was told by whoever I spoke to that my order was canceled. WHAT?! How do you cancel someone’s order and not even let them know?! I asked about this and was told that unfortunately when an order is canceled by the store, there’s no way to reach the customer. Um, yea right. You have my contact information through my order so I don’t buy that. Additionally, I asked why the order was canceled in the first place, and was told it was because the item I ordered was not in stock at the store. Mind you the website said it was… And still said it was when I checked at the time I was informed my order got canceled. Nothing made sense. Ridiculous. Fortunately I had a smooth process at another store location. I got an order confirmation email, status update email, and an email indicating that my order was ready for pick up within two hours. Do better Michaels in Hudson. Glad to talk to store management if...
Read moreI had such great service in this Michael's!
The canvas I wanted to purchase was very high up on the top of their shelving and I first I was hesitant to ask for help (I didn't want to be a bother) . But then a kind sales associate came over and asked if I was in need of assistance, and in less than a minute she had a ladder over to the aisle to get my item. I collected a few other needed things (including some bright acrylic paint, their color selection was vast) and headed over to the register.
The cashier who rang me out was very friendly and even scanned in two coupons into my order! Yeah, two free coupons!! I thought I saw them being scanned in, but the cashier did not mention anything to me. When I overlooked my receipt I was shocked that someone would do a kind doing now a days without taking recognition for it.
I left this store with a huge smile on my face. Not only was I given excellent customer service but I also saved money! I recommend this Michaels to any person with arts and...
