Pros: Nice setup Neat ambience
Cons: Food Staff
This was my families first and likely last experience with a MOOYAH establishment. The concept seemed great but once we were finished the appeal was gone.
The person who took our order was friendly and got our order right.
The food took approximately 10-15 minutes to prepare which seemed like a long time considering the fast(ish) food feel. Simultaneously the burgers are cooked to order so this was easy to look past.
When we received our food the presentation was nothing special. Basic looking burgers, chicken tenders and a mound of fries all served on 2 metal trays. It should be noted that the burgers were very small; if you want a normal sized burger patty then consider ordering the double.
I ordered the A-1 burger and my wife custom built a burger; our daughter had the chicken tenders. The first bite I took out of my burger I was overwhelmed by the taste of salt. Not only was the burger overly salted, it was also dry. My wife's experience was similar. The best park of my burger was the grilled onion. I was originally excited to have their potato bun but was disappointed when the lower bun was soggy... maybe that's where all the moisture from my burger was hiding?
The regular french fries were nothing exciting, not bad but not worth talking about. The sweet potato fries were however excellent!
Because my daughter couldn't finish her chicken tenders I fortunately was able to try them. They were surprisingly amazing considering it's a pretty basic, staple menu item! Seasoned very well and cooked perfectly.
The staff, while friendly, appeared very unprofessional. Certain staff were wearing obnoxiously large chains. At one point the manager is standing directly behind the sneeze guard facing customers while texting on her phone.
The place was nothing...

This was our first time, we just pulled off of the road during our roadtrip to grab lunch. It was next to the Jersey Mike's and we love Jersey Mike's but burgers were calling us. Plus, I love a patty melt and they had one on special (see pic).
Food: My wife's burger looked great and she loved it. Fries were awesome and well seasoned. Her burger didn't leave a drop of grease in her plate. My patty melt was a greasy mess, but the flavor was there and if there was any gripe, it was just how greasy it was.
Service: I'm going to fully admit that the issue was likely due to what I perceived as a lack of being comfortable communicating. I didn't speak with everyone (we barely spoke to the gentleman taking our order) but I assume at a minimum everyone was English as a second language. But that wasn't the issue exactly, it's the walking in with no greeting and just having the guy deadpan you waiting for you to order that makes it weird. It just feels like "I'm getting paid to take your order so let's get it over with" and that feels so weird to me. Almost like when you get your food at the drive through and the person never says a word, its just doesn't feel right. And when we finished and left (btw, there was no one in there when we walked in so the five employees that saw us had literally every opportunity and only one other customer as we walked out) not a glance or a comment. At a minimum isn't "Thanks! have a great day!" the bare minimum? It's definitely an opportunity for improvement.

Read moreFirst time experience was ok not amazing - quick ordering, friendly staff, and clean place. 10 minute wait for the fresh food cooked to order seemed a little long - fries are fresh cut and seem single fried so they are not the really crispy type I prefer (though a very generous single portion).
The single burger patty is way too small relative to the size of the (one size fits all) bun and amount of basic toppings added, so I could not really taste it except that it was too salty (and I like salt). The potato bun was soft, squishy, fresh and flavorless. I appreciate that the cheese is melted completely on the burger. I don’t like my lettuce shredded and will not order it again. There was way too much mustard.
I will give it another try and order a double burger on a wheat bun next time without any shredded lettuce or mustard overdose and maybe try a shake instead of fries. There seems to be potential and commitment to quality here.
Tried again - a few years later - it is still a tasty burger patty, the bun is still too large - and why put the special sauce on TOP of the melted cheese instead of on the bun under the lettuce? It makes for a very slippery, messy burger experience. Still not won over to...
