Quite a lovely little shop. Has an ordering kiosk that zoomers and the antisocial probably adore to minimize talking to people, but it also has the added bonus of allowing the line to continue moving if the staff is busy. Very nice ux, anyone could use it. It is well designed and has a huge graphic interface that is largely image based and as intuitive as pointing to a desert tray to order, so tech averse and even illiterate need not fear it. Give it a go!
The shop is staffed, though, and they will take your order at the register as well. It's generally a quick in and out process. The staff was very helpful though when I returned specifically for one flavor of the week and it wasn't ready.
I had placed my order at the kiosk without it (marked as sold out) but a quick conversation informed me they'd be ready in 10 mins. I asked if they'd swap one of my choices for that when ready and they were able to without any fuss :)
The packaging is lovely too, between the sturdy construction and the pleasant branded pink color. It's like a gift box.
Pricey, but a really nice treat. I generally cannot stand cookies that I don't make myself; I'm very picky about the balance of ingredients and their quality, as well as the final texture.
I can honestly say Crumbl makes better cookies than me. Perfect chewy texture, dense and moist. That dessert texture only cookies can satisfy. Excellent flavor. The only thing I'd change is dark chocolate chips on the evergreen chocolate chip cookie, but that's because I love dark chocolate!
If you want a good chewy cookie, really the only other local option I have found is at Cafe 641, but they only have chocolate chip. Which is fine if you want a smaller cookie and a coffee before 3pm. Crumble is very creative in flavors and my top choice for cookie...
Read moreI pre-ordered cookies 2 days ahead of times specifically the Oreo cake, strawberry cake and macadamia cookies using a combo of rewards as I am a pink rewards member only to be told when I arrived that the oreo cake they did not have as it had been a busy day. How hard is it to count how many pre-orders that you have and not sell those items. When I called store to inquire why my pick up info was not on app. The manager at the store could have told me then they did not have my order , but I drove 1 hour both ways to be told at store which made me angry.Better yet they should have phoned me when they knew they did not have my pre-order. Just remove it from app and maybe she won't come for a cake that I ordered specifically for a birthday and wanting it fresh at end of day.Very Very disappointed and hopefully they can make changes so this does not happen to others . After speaking to store manager and crumbl.com I was asked what they could do to make up for it. Thanks for cookies they were delicous. Amy and Alison got me all set with cookies and an explanation of a computer glitch that...
Read moreCrumbl's Cookies are mediocre at best, but thats at a corporate level. There are a bunch of places in Hudson you can go for better cookies. Tiktok has made this place trendy but it's not really on merit. The only reason I even ordered from here was because my kids were begging and after a week of Covid I figured why not?!
Crumbl Hudson though is bad. One cookie was raw in the middle, one was ice cold. Even though we ordered ahead, my order was 20mins late due to walk ins (what is the point of ordering ahead, then?). There are no directions inside the location about how to pick up, either. At first we were told "just wait for your name to be called" and then after 20 minutes we were told "oh you have to say 'I'm here' via an app. ....wut? I checked out as a guest AND I never was emailed a receipt so I had basically no proof of purchase to provide making it difficult to pick up. Nothing like wasting 20 minutes in a sauna to really rile up your clientele.
Logistics need help, guys. Cookies are terrible but the logistics and service make this a place I...
