On October 6, 2023 I was in a crisis with ATT. I had spent HRS on the phone with several rep, all to no avail. I was trying to get a pin # from ATT, to release my cell phone #, so I could keep my #, and go with a competitor. I finally was told that I should go to an ATT store, which I did, in Hudson, MA. Honestly, all that, was not to complain about ATT, but to bring attention to the man that helped me when I got there! After what I had been through all morning on the phone, I wasn't in the best frame of mind. A young man, named Jay, greeted me, I explained what I needed, what I had been through, and asked if he could resolve the problem, and he said, he was sure he could. I'm writing this review, because of his knowledge, kindness, professionalism, caring, and expertise that he exhibited. That's what this review is all about...Jay Laurent, Store Manager, ATT - Hudson. I don't usually write reviews, I don't have the time, but for Jay, I had to make the time. I want his manager to know, what an asset Jay is to his ATT. That an "atta boy" should be written up, and put in his file, for his next review. I told Jay, I honestly expect him to be a district or regional mgr, he is that good, and I do. I was there a while, I couldn't believe all he did for me, also on the phone. He stuck to the challenge and overcame it, AND resolved my problem, and ultimately gave me a pin #, when he was done. He has an outstanding understanding of the products and a fine representative. Jay, I'm so sorry I took so long, but I got a very bad sore throat and cold, that lasted 3 weeks, came across the paper I had written your info on, and stopped, to write this for you. Thank you so much Jay, for your patience that day, and resolving my problem. I'm so glad you were there. I don't believe any other person would have stuck-to-it, like you did. They have completely ignored my requests for assistance regarding a phone returned as part of an upgrade and have now charged me for it. I was originally told store video would show me returning the phone. Then suddenly said video was erased after 90 days. I was told that the person who incorrectly did the return has been let go and yet still there is an unwillingness to help a customer of 20 plus years. I highly recommend avoiding this store. She greeted me with a smile and started helping me right away while she was already with some other customers. She was patient and cool and didn't keep anyone waiting while helping all of us out. While I was there a guy with a language barrier came in with a customer service concern and they took great care of him and helped him work through his concern with the customer service folks on the phone.
