California Pizza Kitchen at Beverly Hills — Restaurant in Beverly Hills

I've been coming to this location since 1994! I still come here every once in a while...just to be at the original location. A lot has changed with this location and CPK generally speaking over the years.

Service at this location is hit and miss. The food quality is hit and miss too. When we first began coming to this location in 1994, the service was always impeccable and the and food was consistent and delicious. I would always order the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It was so good.

Nowadays, it's hit and miss when we order. If I order for take-out or delivery, I usually get the Chicken Piccata; can't mess-up that one. That's always good. When dining-in, we usually order the BBQ Chicken pizza. We don't get the pizza otherwise because it seems like they get skimpy on the ingredients when it's to go. The onions are never "caramelized" as they used to be. There's very little cilantro on the pizza as displayed in photos and the way we've always experienced during the early days of CPK. The chicken is hit and miss.

I really do miss the old days of CPK where the cost cutting maneuvers were very minimal and product and service quality...

I recently dined at California Kitchen Pizza, and it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The menu offers a great variety of pizzas, all with a unique twist that you won't find at your typical pizzeria.

I tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, and it was fantastic. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had just the right amount of tang, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The combination of flavors was spot on. My friend ordered the Margherita Pizza, which was equally delicious with a beautifully balanced tomato sauce and fresh basil.

The service was friendly and attentive, although the wait time was a bit longer than expected, especially for a weekday evening. However, the quality of the food made up for it. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality and creativity of the dishes, it's worth it.

Overall, California Kitchen Pizza is a great spot if you're looking for something beyond the usual pizza fare. I'll definitely be back to try more of their...

We ate here on Halloween night at 10:08pm. So the food is okay it came and after few minutes our table has a cockroach 🪳 under our food. We don’t know if from the pizza when they serve or maybe is on our table. Anyway we don’t tell them there’s a cockroach cause our Server is away I think she in the kitchen and some of the stuff are cleaning and back and fort to the kitchen so we just don’t bother them cause there busy cause they closing aswell. and also we killed the cockroach 🪳 so finished and leave. After 4 days I saw my credit that I was over charge. Good thing I have my copy of the receipt 🧾 so they over charge me for there tip. We gave a standard tip even they don’t serve as well. But she decided to put her own amount of tip without of my authority. That’s a fraud. I never ever came back here again I tried to call them any times but no once answered. and I reported this to my credit card. I wish I got a video or picture of that cockroach 🪳 so they can close the store and investigate. And also the fraud I want the server name maggy be fired due the fraud...
