Let me start by saying, I’ve been to this location multiple times. It is USUALLY, good. I’m in the service industry, and I understand people have bad days. Okay.
We came in at 2-2:30pm on Sunday, July 27th. Greeted warmly by the bartender. Our server came and got our drink order, good start. It went downhill from there. I ordered the poutine with filet for 28 dollars. I ordered it as an appetizer, and assumed it would come out as such. A couple sat next to us after, and had their drinks and food before anything came out to us besides the beers. The couple had CASHED OUT, by the time we received food. Because it all came out at once.
The poutine came out after the burgers, and it was freezing. Filet was cold, the curds were congealed together and a brick, and the gravy was almost inedible. My girlfriend’s burger was fine, just that, fine. My burger was burnt on top of everything else.
My fiancé and I came in starving so it didn’t really matter what came out, which is why I didn’t ask for anything to be comped.
The worst part of this experience was that the server did not come to ask us how it was, ONCE. We had to flag him down for the check and even then it took 3 times to get his attention. Which leads me to believe he KNEW the food was awful. He knew he did a bad job and couldn’t own up to it at all. He slinked away and didn’t even want to face us. He greeted, and was attentive to every other table in the restaurant. Hard not to take that personally.
Whoever reads this, your bartender was good from what I saw. Your server was out of his depth and you need a new one. Idk what was going on in the galley, but he had 4-5 tables at the bottom, and no outside seating. It should’ve been instinct for him to come ask how it was. And he couldn’t care less.
The tab was over 100 dollars. Won’t be back.
Our server had dark hair, and a hat on, just so the owner...

Really disappointed and let down in the last experience we had here. We have been coming here since they opened and are regulars. We bring all our visitors here, we send anyone looking for an awesome smashburger here, but I wont be coming here anymore unfortunately.
Since early July they had a special bottle of beer on the menu for $60. In early August, we went and ordered it finally after talking about it for the few weeks leading up. It still showed $60 on the menu on the date of purchase. We had a great time, paid, and left. Once splitting up the bill later at home, we noticed they charged us $80 for the bottle that was listed for $60. My wife called and left a voice mail. A week later we got a snotty unapologetic response that “so yeah her boss made a mistake but that is the price.” No apology and no solution. This is not the service we have come to expect here over the past 3 years. I sent a follow up email a week ago and no response. That speaks volumes. It's not even about the money.
Update 11/2/2025: 2 months later they still have the beer with the "wrong price" on the menu according to their Instagram...
Read moreWe waited 2 hours before finally asking our server where our food was. He told us he never put in our order and blamed it on the point of sale system – which is insane since we only had two dishes! If the system wasn’t working, just write down the order!
About an hour in, someone who wasn’t even our waiter checked on us and asked about the items we hadn’t received. We STILL waited another hour, and they never put in our order!
The music situation was bizarre too. There were literally two songs playing at the same time! One track was ear-splitting – it sounded like a metal band rehearsing in the kitchen at full volume with amplifier squeak and everything, ON TOP of another song playing through the restaurant speakers.
This was an exceptionally bad experience, mainly due to the service. We eventually just left when it became clear the kitchen had fallen apart and wasn’t even capable of serving us our order. I can’t recall ever having service this bad. It’s a shame because the beer was good and the menu items looked promising. Wish we actually got to finish our...
