Super Sub Shop — Restaurant in Biddeford

Haven't been to super sub since new owners took over and re-did the inside.

I gotta say that it's gorgeous inside...not sure about the pink wall but I'm there for the food. Checked out the menu and decided on the appetizer combo (fries, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken and mozzarella sticks) And a small tuna salad with onions and lettuce, black pepper and no salt on anything.

I'll start by saying fries are OK and there not my favorite food but these fries reminded me of pier fries, if I had vinegar on them you'd think they came from the beach. I ate every single fry in that box. The tenders were juicy inside and the outside crust was definitely good. The popcorn chicken was alright and the mozzarella stick had that juicy milky pop when you bit it.

I'm picky about tuna subs. Some places put in too much mayo and it ruins the flavor. This tuna was fresh made, enough mayo to moisten the tuna-lettuce-onion and the fresh roll definitely makes it perfect in my opinion.

The help are social and funny but always make you feel welcome.

I'm looking forward to summer weather and stopping by for more of the menu 😋

We went again and again the fries and chicken tenders were perfect BUT I need to talk about the steak and cheese with mushrooms.

I have been craving this since Louis went out of business but I gotta say this is where I'll be going to get my steak and cheese, fries and subs.

Recent update March 2024, bought a couple of their Wednesday $5 pizzas. When I got the pizzas they looked beautiful, There appeared to be a ton of cheese, a real decent amount of toppings. But that's all that was good. So eating the pizza it was a bit on the bland side.. crust seemed okay.. but that's not the issue.. after eating the pizza I only ate half of one. My other person ate there half of one.. about an hour later, we both felt like our stomachs were going to explode. We had so much gas . Coming out both ends.. for hours. But wasn't sure it was the pizza.. Next day ate the other half of the pizza, and it was even worse than the day before. We felt like our bellies were going to just explode into Oblivion, so much gas you could have filled up multiple trucks. Coming out both ends.. Well we didn't throw up or anything.. I have no explanation as to why we were sick like that but obviously it was the pizza both times and two different pizzas made by them. I will not be going back for any pizzas there. So damn disappointed. Gave them another chance.. Most probably, will not try them again.. I wish them luck.. hopefully it doesn't happen to anybody else..

Old review... .Not sure what happened to this place that used to be good, but currently it is not !! been there a few times lately, breads dry, not a lot for the money , it's scarce inside the very thin sandwiches not worth the money.... George's Italians are...

Came here about 2 months ago, on a whim because i didn't want to drive for 20 minutes, and instantly had my expectations absolutely destroyed by this place. They make not only awesome subs but almost any other kind of food you can think of too, and somehow the quality and taste is consistently top tier all the way down their menu. The subs and customer service are 99% of the reason I keep coming back. The food is fresh and always delicious. But even though the food is amazing, the staff are the best quality of this place.

I have interacted with maybe 6 different staff members, and every single one of them is beyond polite, sociable, empathetic, fast and efficient. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my order, even after they say it'll be 10 minutes. They clearly have the best training and prioritize efficiency and customer service just as much as product quality, and i have never once left that place feeling insulted or annoyed or angry at being treated like I'm a burden for paying them money to do their job. This is the first place I've ever been to who welcome customers every day with a smile, and after getting the food, you're the one smiling walking out the door. This place is amazing and it stays amazing until you swallow the very last bite of their food. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough for this place, and i genuinely wish i could give them 5 gold or platinum stars on here.
