I will give this place 2 stars only because the dinner we had was great however the next morning when we decided to give them a try for breakfast the wait time to be seated was 20 minutes even though no one else was waiting and when we did get seated there were only 3 other tables eating. We found out from the hostess while we were waiting that there was an issue in the kitchen. I ordered a waffle which came out so cold butter wouldn't melt. My granddaughter order sausage and got bacon my husband ordered an omelet with sausage, bacon, tomato, green pepper and cheese. He got bacon and tomato and to top it all off potatoes were literally so frozen you couldn't stick a fork in it. We sent it back and we could here the microwave heating things up the eggs were powdered eggs rather than fresh and the bacon was microwaved as well the quality of the food served was horrible. Our server was great she offered to comp the whole meal and the manager agreed then came the big Boss saying they didn't have the authority to comp and that we should pay half. After going round and round and him saying that he would take 100% responsibility for his staff and correct the issues I said then you will take 100% responsibility for the check as well. He stormed off saying fine! This was the worst example of customer service ever and if Holiday Inn has any connection to this restrarants then they need to do some house cleaning with the morning...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Stillwell's, and I can't say enough good things about this charming, family-run restaurant. From the moment we walked in, just 30 minutes before closing, we were greeted with warmth and kindness, which truly set the tone for our evening As a kid-friendly establishment, Stillwell's made our family feel right at home. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff's graciousness made us feel welcome, even at such a late hour For appetizers, we ordered two servings of the spinach and artichoke dip, and let me tell you, it was a hit! Creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount to share among us. For the main course, my husband chose the baby back ribs, and he couldn't stop raving about them. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, they were a great cut of meat that left him thoroughly satisfied. I opted for the tilapia, which was impressively fresh and cooked to perfection A huge thank you to Murphy and Abigail for their exceptional service and for creating such a wonderful dining experience. Stillwell's is definitely a gem for families looking for a friendly, delicious meal. We can't...
Read moreGet a grip Eddie Russell! You're in Big Bear, not Paris! As far as your 'palette' being professionally educated, refined, and experienced-that alone should have told you to TAKE THE CORK(from a bottle of a French Merlot perhaps?)OUT OF YOUR ASS and release some of that hot air that you also use to puff your chest out with and realize that YOU'RE EATING AT A RESTAURANT IN THE MOUNTAINS FOR CHRISSAKES!! And I'll add, a VERY NICE PLACE at that!! I suggest that you take your refined, educated and experienced 'palette', along with your belly full of hot air and BLOW IT OUT OF YOUR ASS while you make your way back down the hill! And since you (mis)spoke of 'grace', go and be 'hoidy-toidy' somewhere else-ANYWHERE ELSE, and 'GRACE' US ALL by getting your self-inflated ego along with your 'better-than-thou' attitude out of our beloved little town and make Big Bear a better place SIMPLY BY NOT BEING HERE ANYMORE!! And by the way, Mr Educated, it's 'PERSPECTIVE', NOT 'PROSPECTIVE'!! You lonely little person. It MUST BE VERY VERY SAD BEING YOU. G'day, Eddie Jr. (twice...
