Save yourself the wasted time and disappointment...drive a mile past this location and go to Krispy Kreme. Here's why: My friend and I have been bringing our children to this location for the past two years. The staff has always been friendly and gracious and if something was made incorrectly, they replaced it, no questions asked. That was until a new manager was hired. My children are younger, so while I do not allow them to get out of control, they will slip out of their chairs to go look out the window, or to greet a friend across the restaurant...you know, kinda like adults do, but only on a smaller scale. Last week, we were starting to pack things up to leave and our littles were chasing each other in a circle (when I say chasing, I mean they were basically walking in a circle after one another). The manager yelled at us that the kids were going to get hurt and that they needed to sit down. We gathered our things and left. My friend and I decided to give this location another try this week. My friend arrived before me and was able to order coffee and donuts. When I walked in, we had the kids sit down so that we could talk to them about making sure not to chase each other around. (We brought coloring books and cards to entertain the children.) We were just about to start talking to our children when the manager comes over and says, "Folks, I need your kids to stay in their seats today. We can't have them moving around the store." My friend began explaining to the manager that we were just about to talk to the kids about that when he interrupted her and repeated his message. Again, she began to explain to him that we have never had a problem like this for the two years that we have been going to that location and that we realize that anything that happens is on us. Again, he interrupted her and said, "I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about other people being hurt. Just keep them in their seats," and then he walked off. I have been mom-shamed before, but never preemptively mom-shamed. Another customer in the store was shocked at how rude this manager was to just come out and discipline us and OUR children without us having done anything wrong. This manager is completely unprofessional and to top it off, the drink I bought last week tasted like luke-warm, watered down milk. The girl who usually does a fantastic job on the coffee was in the drive-thru and she looked like she was not enjoying being there. She has always had a friendly smile when we walked in, but not these past two visits. The girl who was making the drinks had a scowl on her face and last week when I went up to get my drink, I asked her what this was and she said "I don't know...it's hers," pointing at my friend. (It was my latte with two pumps of mocha---that tasted like luke-warm, watered-down milk.) As I said in the beginning, save yourself the time, the hassle, and the grief and drive one mile past to the Krispy Kreme...
Read moreThere an older lady that works the window who had been consistently unfriendly. I live close so I use to stop here before my commute to work. I no longer go there because the lady always gets my order wrong, very unprofessional and unfriendly. I use to think that maybe 1 or 2 times of getting y order wrong is ok. But I’ve notice any time she’s working my order is wrong, food is ALWAYS cold so much so my stuff bengals are frozen. It’s only her so I think she does this on purpose. Just yesterday I went there and she forgot my cold foam. Literally snatched my cup out my hand and right after she gave me my cup back she rudely shut the window in my face. I threw my coffee away cause I don’t trust her. Any other employees my order has been correct hot and perfect. That lady needs another profession. Next time if I decide to come back I’m coming inside to address this. I believe this lady does this on purpose I’ve witness her being rude to other poc people. I witness her being rude to a man that needed help with ordering from the app and she flat out refuse to take his order and made him go through the drive thru. And complained about it to me. Lady if you hate your job find another profession. She is the older white lady that works the window. She’s mean, extremely unprofessional, rude and purposefully gives ppl the wrong order or old disgusting coffee. Many times I had to throw my coffee away because of her. I’ve been coming here for over a year. She’s has consistently been this way. I’m sure others have this...
Read moreThis morning before work I decided to order ahead and pay and then go pick it up at the store. Turns out the lobby was closed for today only and it said go to the drive thru. The drive thru was backed up to the street. Remember I have paid for everything in advance. There were other customers that we’re standing outside as well and i asked them for advice and they said go up to the window. Luckily the guy in his car at the window was nice enough to ask the manager to get my order. The manager man proceeded to yelled at me and said “I don’t care that you paid ahead so did everyone else so go wait in the drive thru. it’s not my fault you ordered before work and are going to be late.” He almost didn’t give me my order because I wasn’t in the car with the current customer. The whole point of paying in advance is so that you can walk in and pick it up whenever you would like. They should’ve mentioned that walk in was not available. What was I supposed to do? Be an hour late to work so I can get my coffee, or just forget about the coffee and food I PAID for in advance. I also tried calling them and explaining my situation. Which they never answer the phone. I will not be returning. Every time I have come to dunkin’ donuts in this location in Birmingham Alabama 400 Cahaba Park Cir suite 1, the manager man has been nothing but rude to me. This hurts me because I have always loved Dunkin’, but ever since I moved back to Birmingham I have had nothing but...
