The food was decent but not worth the wait or the price. We waited 20 minutes for our 2 sandwiches and fries. Also, it took me by surprise when we paid using our credit card they were asking for a tip. I'm not sure how little they are paying their employees but considering the price of the subs I would think they could afford to pay them a living wage. All they did was make the food. They did not bring it to the table, deliver it somewhere, nothing. When I say they're soliciting for a tip I mean 3 options come up on the screen 15% 20% 25% and in teeny tiny writing it gives you the option to do another amount. Tipping is getting out of control and this place is a great example of it. Sure, give an option to tip but don't make it look mandatory. I probably won't be returning since there are other places that have better food and are more adequately priced for what you're getting. If I'm paying almost $30 for lunch for 2 I'd rather be going to a full service sit down restaurant where I would most likely...
Read moreMy family and I went inside to order the food for take out and the service by this guy no idea what his name was, but on the reciept it said Savannah. He was absolutely disrespectful and so rude. He kept telling us under his breath, small, regular, giant? But kept repeating himself and nothing he was saying was making any sense. We mentioned #1 regular size meal with fries. My mom has not ordered here in awhile and I had to help her order the food and this guy was eye rolling and was getting annoyed.
The other two that were the cooks were eye rolling and rude as well.
No smiles, no happiness. The inside aisle was mopped and one side by the doors had caution sign but other side by the fountain machine did not. Chairs were on the tables as well.
I never had such a disappointment in service here. I guess I will be going to Mandan location.
Pretty sad...
Read moreWow! So happy I came in tonight! Retro Metro. Large menu! Large variety of sizes that you can choose from off the menu. They even offer a veggie option! Very kid friendly. This place is so laid back that you can draw on the walls and color in a train. It tapped into the kid in me and I wrote on a wall lol! Yet I see every stereotype feeling confortable here. This would also be a great place to take someone that has down syndrome or a brain injury due to you can watch your food being made in front of you, look at the art, contribute to the art on walls or on paper, dim lights (kinda soothing), and 98% wheel chair friendly! The Grand Junction is one of the most progressive restaurants I have been to for quite a while. If you found this helpful please click the...
