I can't post with 0 star. So I put one star. You deserve NONE. The worst experience ever. It was my first time trying this restaurant but I'm never coming back here. I ordered food for carry-out and had to wait for almost two hours. I ended up cancelling the order and leaving. Why? The lady at the counter seemed to be the owner, and she was so rude. She said it would take one hour, and I was there on time. However, everytime I asked how much longer it would take, she said 15 minutes. I waited 4 times of 15 minutes more, and she didn't explain why or anything. (Server came to me and said their kitchen is really small or something like that. He was nice though) She was like 'you want to cance it? or just move away.' She literally said to me "Can you move away? or wait outside?" oh my... gosh.. I was standing next to the acrylic screen where they put food for delivery pick-ups. Because she kept saying 15 minutes, as if the food was about to come out, I was waiting inside. I can't believe her attitude. There were more than that, but I just don't think it's worth taking my time to write it down all here. I just had the worst experience and I wish she could think about her attitude and service and would just leave this restaurant industry. I was ok with busy kitchen and food getting delayed. However, I couldn't stand her poor service and way of talking to other customers. She was rude to other walk-in customers as well. I just don't know what to say.... just don't go to this restaurant, everyone. She doesn't deserve you guys.

It's not a false statement, and I want to mention it here. I saw a brown-colored cockroach (proly 1.5 inch long) on the table you put your orders for delivery pick-ups... so disgusting

After four years in college, I discovered this place a few weeks before graduation. 18 months later and was finally able to come back.

We started with the ttuk kko chi which were rice cakes covered in a gochujang sauce. The cakes were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce it was in was amazing, balancing the heat from the gochujang with some sweetness. Next, we got the Korean fried chicken (they were out of KFC wings). I remember the sauce being a little more red last time, but it was still good. Super crispy exterior and no excess batter so we just tasted the juicy chicken. The two entrees we got were the spicy chicken and jaeyuk. The spicy chicken was flavorful and tender. Along with the chicken, the veggies were stir fried nicely and coated in the broth. The jaeyuk was a little better with the pork having a great marinade and also being super tender. On top of the food we ordered, we were given a salad, soup, and rice which were all nice accompaniments.

This was the meal I was looking forward to the most in my return and it did not disappoint. The only and I mean only thing to change is having bigger napkins on the table. Everything else is great and most importantly all the food...

Rude staffing. Our group sat down and waited over ten minutes to get service before we were rudely told to move because another group had arrived. She claimed that the staff made a mistake and we were wrongly seated, but we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes before the new group walked in. We moved with no problem and had waters served to us at the new location. We were chatting for another 10 minutes before the same waitress came. She rudely told us this wasn’t the seat we were supposed to go to and told us to stand and wait until another table left. This wouldn’t of been an issue if we hadn’t been sitting there for ten minutes with no problem. The staff had even brought us all waters to the table we “were not supposed to sit at” with no complaint. I tried to professionally convey my disappointment to the waitress, to which she told me to “just leave if I had a problem.” Which we did! Horrible service and to the waitress to thin-drawn on eyebrows, I hope you find peace in life and find happiness so you can stop being a bitter person to everyone around you!...

My most recent visit was for a late Monday lunch (3 PM). Although they offer an appealing $8.99 lunch set, I opted for the bulgogi dolsot, which came with tea (I asked for oolong although they have about seven choices), miso soup, and a side of kimchi. Everything tasted delicious. I was really full by the end. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and warm, with dark paneling and soft lighting. Music is primarily Korean pop. The serving staff were friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Everything was clean. I have been here before for late dinner and drinks (beer and nihonshu) with friends, and the atmosphere can become louder and more fun on Friday or Saturday nights. They serve not only Korean beer such as Hite, but also Japanese beer like Sapporo, which I recommend in the bottle. And of course they have soju. Parking is on-street at meters or in the nearby city parking lot (also metered).

Disappointed after hearing good reviews. The Korean barbecue(KBBQ) was such a small portion(3rd pic) for over 20 bucks. The meat was totally unseasoned and provided with a tiny amount of sauce that wouldn't cover half the meat. They couldn't have pour the sauce before delivery? The kimchi and tofu soup was underwhelming. Barely any kimchi. The pork was so overcooked and dried out. It was very watery and just bland besides the spice level. The fried squid legs were the worst. It was so overcooked that it was like chewing cartilage. Will not return. I strongly prefer Mama's Korean.
