Was in blue ridge for the week with family and my husband and I decided to have a date night. Glad we stopped in here! Lots of parking, no wait, and there were indoor and outdoor seating options. The i'm beyond the restaurant is very nice, we enjoyed the dim lighting and gave a nice "date night" feel. I ordered the steak (medium rare) with seasoned potatoes and broccolini. The steak gets splashed with I think bow and marrow butter at the end, and OMG it was the best steak I've ever had. Cooked perfectly, the flavor was distinctly different and oh so delicious. The vegetables were nice, but flavor rice compared to the steak.. did not compare lol my husband ordered a pizza, and he thought it was one of the best pizzas he has ever had. It Had chicken and a garlic oil on it, and he absolutely devoured what he could of it. I would have tried the pizza but he ended up putting red crushed pepper on it, and I'm just not a spicy gal so he got to enjoy that one all to himself. We did get an appetizer of these goat cheese with fig jam Archinis (I know I spelled that wrong sorry!) that were drizzled with hot honey. The flavors were so delicious paired together, we loved them I just wished I had more of them! I would definitely recommend stopping in here if you have the chance. I will give a shout out to the service, as they were quick, friendly, and on it.

I recently dined at Twisted Tomato Blue Ridge and had an exceptional experience. To start, we ordered the calamari fritti and lamb lollipops. The calamari was perfectly crispy and tender, while the lamb lollipops were flavorful and cooked to perfection, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I opted for the 6 oz Filet mignon with the roasted peppercorn sauce. The filet was incredibly tender and juicy, and the sauce added a delightful kick without overpowering the meat. On the side, I had the creamed spinach, which was rich, creamy, and a perfect complement to the steak. Our server, Jeremiah, was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Kudos to Chef Jonathan O’Brian for crafting such a delicious and memorable dining experience. I also have to mention the amazing mocktail made by bartender Jada – the strawberry and mint fizz was refreshing and the perfect drink to accompany the meal. Overall, the meal was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Twisted Tomato Blue Ridge for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Reserved a table for Saturday night (7:30), accidentally booked one less person. (We booked 4, needed 5 due to having two small children, 5 & 4). Tried to call the location to adjust, but could not get anyone on the phone from 11 am to 5 pm. Showed up, let the hostess/manager know that we had 5 instead of 4. She was pretty rude about how this would impact them, and if we wanted to keep the reservation, we would need to cram in at a table if we were ok being uncomfortable. It was a pretty snarky response considering over 50% of the restaurant was empty. Considering they had many open tables, they could have easily combined two tables. These tables remained empty throughout our entire visit. We were sat a table without silverware (poorly bussed and setup from the previous dinner). Ordered apps & drinks. Food came, our waitress was nice, but new and very inexperienced. While talking to us, shut cut off of and said hold on let me go see if these folks (behind us) want dessert. So she went to take care of them, mid conversation with us. Food came, we still did not have silverware, waited for her to come back. She brought us 4 instead of 5. Instantly asked for another one. She said sure I'll get it for you. Then proceeded to take the table (in front of us's) Dinner order then run to the bar to grab others drinks. Never got my silverware, ended up grabbing it from an empty table. I ordered the duck meal and asked to have the salad subbed for a baked potato. I got my meal, 6 strips of duck meat and a baked potato. The baked potato was luke warm, no toppings, no butter, cheese nothing just a simple potato that had been sitting under a warm light. I mentioned to her the meal came with a pasta, she says oops, I forgot to tell them you wanted that. Oh and I forgot your toppings, I'll get those. Another 10 minutes go by. Comes back with the toppings for my cold potato. At this point, the meal is just sideways, miss after miss for a restaurant trying to be upscale but failing in all aspects of quality food or service. The bill comes, she has a side potato on there for over the price on the menu and I had to wait another 15 minutes to get her to come over and adjust the tab. (My timing could be exaggerated but I had to flag her down)

Overall, the pizza was good. Beer is fairly priced, probably a great Pizza & Beer spot. Everything else needs...

We went to dinner as a family of three. The restaurant atmosphere was nice was terrible.

When we were sat the restaurant was not very full. We were our servers third table. We were sat next to a table of 6 adults who were sat right before us. He took their order and then CMS to take our order. We ordered our appetizer, salads and pizza all at the same time as we were dining with a toddler. It took over an hour for us to get our salads. The table that ordered right before us finished their salads, dinner and drinks before we even received our salads. It took over an to receive our salads alone. When he brought thems to us he set them down and didn't say a word to us. He just turned around and walked away. The tables around us were filling up as we sta there waiting. Tables who were sat after us had their desserts before we had our dinner.

My husbands water day empty for 15 min before our server ever walked by our table. When he did, my husband asked for water. He the had to wait almost 15 more min to receive water. Our server took his sweet time doing everything else including taking water to the table next to us first....who's glasses were still half full of water.

The whole experience was terrible for food that was just okay. Don't bet the margarita pizza, it has weird chopped up tomatoes on it. It also only had toppings in the very middle. The too half of each slice was plain bread/dough with nothing on it. My husband ordered the gem salad which was an absolute joke. He got four or five small romaine style lettuce with three pieces of fruit on each (a blueberry, a raspberry and a slice of clementine.) It ws more like a pathetic excuse for a fruit lettuce wrap.

Don't recommend going here unless you want terrible service and mediocre food. If you do go, make sure you ask for someone besides Bobby.

On a side note, our son has a shelfish allergy. We ordered nothing that has seafood (meatball's, gem salad, Greek salad and margarita pizza), but he got violently ill after we left which leads us to believe there was some sort of cross contamination that happened in...

Went there last night with four friends. Service was really bad. Our waitress had a “ care less attitude “. She brought each drink order separately. One cocktail which she had double charged for on the final bill, then later a beer then later another beer. She then asked us to place our order and we said where are the other two drinks. She acted like it would be a bother to go get those before we ordered, but she finally did. One of us ordered a potato leak soup. She brought him a cream of tomato soup instead because she said they didn’t have any more potato leak soup. Never stopped to ask him ahead of time if that would be OK.. another member of our party asked her if she would keep a side dish in the refrigerator until we were ready to leave. We had to ask four times for the side dish and she still never brought it. We finally went to the kitchen ourselves and retrieved it. I ordered a simple order of spaghetti and meatballs and the dish was dry. The other members of our party were satisfied with their meal. The manager did volunteer on her own to reduce the cost of my dish which we appreciated. Overall, the food was average and expensive. I was embarrassed because my friends had not been to the twisted tomato before and I had recommended it highly from my previous trips there. This was on a Sunday evening at 5:30 PM and the restaurant was...
