Was a terrible experience. Went in to pickup a pickup order that should’ve been done at 1:20 I was there at 1:50 and it hadn’t been started yet. There were 2 other people sitting down in the bench. Went in and there was a brown hair girl with glasses and an older man in the back. Neither one acknowledged me. I finally after waiting 5 min as they ignored me said “excuse me “ and was still ignored, then the people sitting down told me they hadn’t been helped either. Both workers were intentionally ignoring us even after we called out for help. Then another lady came in and clocked in and helped us told me my order would be made now. She wasn’t much better but atleast didn’t ignore us. Anyway, I waited 25 minutes for a pizza that was supposed to be done 30 min before my arrival time. If it had been any longer I was about to walk out and request a refund and I honestly should have. The pizza wasn’t even good. Had no flavor. Once I did get my food there was no thank you, no sorry NOTHING. Just sat them on the counter and walked off. Worst customer service experience of my entire life. I will NEVER return. Huge...
Read moreFirst, this is a take away place, not eat in, which is something we didn't know. Oops! That's why they get a lower 'atmosphere' score. It's very functional, which is fine for this type of place. The pizzas are a little smaller, more like Minsky's, with the XL being the only one I'd consider for a family. The crust is very flaky and light, definitely thin crust, and really tasty. We got a half and half cheese only (for the child, who loved it), and pepperoni and feta on the other side. Sauce is a smidge oregano- heavy for me (that may have been spices?) but otherwise nicely in the middle of a sweet and savory sauce, so it should appeal to most palates. Toppings are plentiful and good quality. Our pizza was made fresh in 15 minutes, and service was with a smile. You can see the whole kitchen, which is something I like in places like this. The breadsticks were good (a square of pizza dough with Parmesan and seasonings) but make sure you eat them fast, because they get stiff and not good as soon as they cool. We'll...
Read moreWe moved to Blue Springs 6 years ago, and while the pizza situation has been ok, it's SO much better now. The Minsky's out here is weird, and the prices are truly insane. The Pizza Hut by the movie theater used to be amazing, but something happened, and the prices got jacked way up.
Enter: Marco's.
I had literally never even heard of Marco's before, but my friend had a really good experience with them, so we tried them out. I'm gonna make this clear.
1.) The food is AMAZING. Flat out, the best pizza I've had consistently. Ever.
2.) The people are SUPER friendly and never late. Listen, I'm a transwoman, so this is a huge deal to me. Never one single problem with the staff.
3.) The prices are super low to begin with, and they're always sending me coupons on top of that!
That's it. We've probably ordered from them 60 times since they opened, and we have no intention of stopping. I'm SO grateful they opened up out here. I can imagine life...
