So this was my very first time coming to this resturant and here is my experience and thoughts. As I walked in I DID like the whole theme they had going on! Was very cute and not loud like some resturants tend to be. The waitress took awhile to greet us or ask what we would like to drink but when she did she was very friendly. We got our menus and I was completely lost because they was kind of hard to read and very tricky on pricing and trying to decide what I wanted was very hard because it wasnt your normal menu. I did not like the fact that you can not really get a full meal without spending more and well it wasnt a option. With my meal I would like maybe a baked potato or a salad but that wasnt a option. My husband chose the Gator which arrived before I even got my meal so we couldnt est together but the size of the Gator meal was like getting a happy meal from McDonald's only McDonald's you get more! My husband is 300 pounds and that was tiny bite size gator nuggets that he had to eat in front of me because I had no meal so I started to eat his French fries which was pretty good. We told the waitress ofboutmr disappointment in the size of the meal and she stated she tried to tell us but I dont recall that. I think she felt bad which I did not want her to feel bad because it wasnt her fault. She dont make up the menu. I got the pound of crab legs which were very good but only got 2 tiny red potatoes the size of golf balls and a piece of corn. I paid $25 Dollars for my meal and still kinda left hungry. The manager knew we wasnt very happy and came over and said let me get you some more bread for the inconnvience! I can get a whole meal for two for the price of those crab legs and I felt they dont offer more to go with the meal. I was a mess because I was not giving wet naps to wipe my hands, I had to ask for them. All in all my husband left hungry and we had to stop else where to pick him up a burger. Please make the Gator meal a better size! Its way to small. I am not one to complain but I would like to see more added to the meals instead of just crab legs and 2 potatoes. The waitress was very nice and I tipped her well because I didnt want her to feel like she did something wrong. I wont say I wont ever go again but I will check back and see if things improve as I know it is a newer resturant. When leaving no thank you and have a nice night from hostess but thats ok. The crab leg flavorswas good however. I will check back again later to see if it improves and before I can...
Read moreI do not usually write long reviews but I feel this place deserves a full review. My mother wanted lobster for her birthday and said she looked at their menu online and it said they had a whole lobster on the menu but when we got there it was only available in a boil. We both got a boil as well as 2 appetizers (calamari and seafood bread). My mother got a sprite and beer and I just got a Sprite. When I got the crab some of the crab was not waterlogged but the rest was to the point where I could not even crack them open to get the meat. None of it tasted that great as well. If I had to guess I'd say the crab was pretty old. I told our waiter and his response was what would you like done? While he was nice and I don't feel he was being rude that was not the response I would have liked. Our bill after the tip was $200 and not even our soft drinks were credited. The seafood bread was the only thing that was delicious. I am overall pretty disappointed as this was my mother's 70th birthday. We will not be back sadly. Also I want to make sure everyone knows this is not a place you should bring children. This is one of the restaurants that allow you to bring a sharpie in and write whatever you see fit anywhere. Walls, doors, booth seats, bathroom, everywhere. There are swear words and there are very offensive things written all over the restaurant. I'm honestly not sure why a restaurant would allow stuff like this happening at their restaurant. I've spoke about it to others and the environment alone is why some won't even go in the...
Read moreWe had a group of 10 that went to eat here for a birthday. It was a Wednesday night, not busy at all. The host was on his phone when we walked in and seemed annoyed that he was interrupted. He sat us at a dirty table. Then disappeared. The server took half of our drink orders and took 20 minutes to bring them. Then took the other half's order and took another 20 minutes. Then we had to find her to take our food order. We had to ask more than once for the bread. She said they were making it, but it wasn't fresh when we got it. The food took a very long time to get and was just ok. We had to keep looking for the server to get drink refills and she seemed bothered by that. We brought a cake for the birthday girl and had to ask for a knife, then look for her to get us the knife more than once. She took our plates and forks and we had to ask for new ones for the cake. Again, more than once. We also had to go up and ask for boxes for the food. I feel like she knew she was getting a good tip no matter what because the tip was automatically added so she just didn't care. For the amount of other tables in there, we should have had top notch service. This dinner was NOT cheap and the experience should have been so...
