I placed an order online to be ready at 8:45pm. Got there at 8:40 and got in line at the drive-thru. After 5 minutes of not moving at all, I parked and went in. My order had not even been printed out. Was told they were out of General Tso's and Orange Chicken. When I told them that I had placed an online order earlier in the day, the guy said that I had placed it at 8:53! I then showed him my confirmation e-mail I received at 3:34pm!!!! So, they did make more General Tso's and Orange Chicken. Then, I was told they were out of Black Pepper Chicken! I had ordered two bowls of that, but they only had enough for one. Then, they tried to short me one of the bowls I ordered. Thank goodness I checked the order. They also shorted me an order of cream cheese rangoon. My final request (which I had put in the comments box on the online order at 3:30 in the afternoon) was for teriyaki sauce and sweet and sour sauce. Surprise, surprise.....they were out of sweet and sour sauce. By this time I was absolutely disgusted and frustrated. Although the food is okay, I will NOT be going there again. They need to change the name, because there is nothing EXPRESS about it. To top it off, not one apology over this until I was walking out and one guy said he was sorry for the wait. Read moreThis is my second time ordering here this week after having taken a break for a couple of weeks. Don't waste your money. The rice is completely bland. I don't like salty foods.. and I'm telling you there was no salt or seasoning. The chow mein had more coloring then flavor. Last time, I thought that maybe they had someone different in the back and they are just learning.... but today it was worse. The rice was literally white steamed soggy rice with veggies and egg. There was absolutely no color, flavor, or salt. I have eaten here plenty of times so I called and spoke to the restaurant manager Sherry to let her know what was going on. She first told me that the person added too much water, then she changed her response and said it was done with correct amount of seasoning and proportions. But that the seasoning all stays at the bottom of the rice cooker. She said that the company tells them what proportions to put. I get that but white rice really? I told her, that I literally added a whole packet of sauce to the rice and the rice still has no flavor. This is not fried rice. She continued to insist that the rice was done correctly and it should look almost white even with all the seasoning. Really? She blamed it on the company. It’s a lady maybe in her early 50s to mid this lady is one of the most rude managers I’ve ever met in my entire life. I’m vegan and the first two or three times I went there she Told me that I could have the vegan orange chicken fried and the chow mein pan so it didn’t come in contact with the real chicken in the fryer. She never had any problem with it then either the third or fourth time I went back she was very rude and said no. When she never had a problem with it before and said they didn’t have time to fry it in the chow mein pan, but then told my brother that was getting the Steak that it would be a five minute or more wait since it took a little longer to cook so how is it she could Make the steak that took a long time compared to the food that was already ready, but couldn’t have them frying my beyond chicken and the chow mein pan Due to them being pressed for time?
