I visited this place recently to ask the employees here are a quick question because I lost something very very expensive in their development when I was shopping near by a few weeks ago. When I asked my question, I didn’t appreciate the quick cut off response I got from one of the employees here. When he answered with a “no” there was no sympathy in his response, and there were no helpful suggestions given afterwards. It was a blunt and fast “no”. His face was expressionless with no sympathy and his body language said “hurry up and get out.”
This response made me feel as though I was wasting his time probably because he wanted to get on with his work. Mind you there was no other customers in the store besides me so it’s not like I was preventing him from helping anyone else on the floor. I felt like the second he found out my question was non-related, he wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible, which made me feel irrelevant, rushed and unimportant. I understand you guys are on a tight schedule and have food to make for calling customers and orders being placed online perhaps, but even if that was the case #1 my question was very short and not time consuming #2 at least pretend to care about the customers concerns.
I used to be a sales representative so even if a customer comes up to ask me a question that’s not related to what I specialize in, I still take the time to engage with them (with a reasonable amount of time) by guiding them in the right direction and sending them the help they need no matter the store traffic. I don’t mark them off as irrelevant and unimportant because if I give them my time, even if what they are asking or looking for is unrelated to my services or products, they still deserve respect (they could also become a potential customer). When you don’t have what a customer is needs, I feel it’s important to bring up helpful suggestions or show other options instead of leaving them with “no” and not doing anything to help them. You want all customers to feel valued by showing them that you care.
My overall complaint is that he was not very accommodating, which made me feel like a waste of his time. He didn’t even say “have a good day” as I walked out. It was embarrassing. Way to make a potential customer feel Iike you want them to get the heck out...
Read moreDecided to try this for dinner instead of our usual greek restaurant. I had the lamb kebobs that came on a bed of rice, pita bread and a small salad. The lamb was very bland - no seasoning and not cooked with an open flame. The red sauce was the seasoning but not what I was expecting. My wife had the gyro saute with small salad and no pita bread. She said it was quite good. The gyro lamb well seasoned and didn't need the red spicy sauce. Pita bread with it would have been nice . The Grill is small but clean and owners friendly. Very casual dining altho when not ordering take out, meals should be served on something other than styrofoam clamshells and plastic utensils. We realize they are trying to save (?) money, but this wasn't a cheap meal so presentation could & should be better. Save the plastic...
Read moreI ordered the gyro bowl through DoorDash and there are no descriptions of the dish so I assumed the dish came as the picture on the menu. Meat, rice and sauce. When it arrived there was no sauce on the bowl. I called the restaurant and told them they left off the sauce. They told me the sauce no longer comes on the gyro bowl and you have to ask for it. I simply said that they should maybe update their pictures and descriptions. The man on the phone told me just because it is on the picture does not mean it comes with it. Just like if there was a salad on the picture that does not mean it comes with the dish. Anyway, the bowl is good, but would be better with the sauce I...
