Unparalleled food in America or Middle East. We ordered excellent lamb shawarma rollup with hummus inside, also incredibly flavorful chicken shawarma and rice plate with hummus and added falafel, eggplant salad on side and fresh tabbouli. It was hands down the best falafel I've ever had- in any country- at any price restaurant. The spices were well chosen, the oil was fresh and the falafel was moist- and soft inside, not dried out, but not oily. Everything was incredibly fresh . we took home a spinach pie and a za'atar pie for this weekend. Asked them them not to heat up to preserve for later use. Will review again on those items. Oh, the service was bar none, unsurpassed. They were very busy and took time to chat and joke with my daughter while they worked at lightening speed. We will make this a regular stop for nourishing food and service that feeds the soul. Oh I just read the other reviews. 2024 Edit - this restaurant must have been sold, it's now unremarkable Middle Eastern and Hispanic food. New staff, interior updated. Going to throw out my falafel sandwich because it's just unremarkable and bland. No real AC so the room is boiling hot. Many Hispanic patrons so maybe the not middle eastern food is good.

2016 review: Seriously, this place is real, authentic middle eastern food. The place looks rather dumpy from the outside, and has little decor, but the kitchen is clean, and the food is special and fresh. Just ordered here a pick up and food (Lamb shawarma plate) was great. I am posting as surprised by the reviews last few years but it seems like some ownership changes happened since pandemic and prior to now. And I forgot about this place last few years but drove by it the other day and kept thinking about how good the food was in my memory so ordered today. FYI Menu only has authentic items today as it did in past no Latin American items. Salad was fresh and had dressing and feta, rice was soft and flavorful, and lamb was as good as in my memory with yogurt dressing on top.
