Artful Edge Framing — Local services in Boston

I moved to Boston 10 years ago and found the Artful Edge. I have done framing of pictures from Philadelphia to San Francisco and even Madison, WI. The Artful Edge stands out in many ways. The first is consistently courteous and enthusiastic service. The second is a great aesthetic sense for what will help your art work well for you, not for how it would work on their wall. Artful Edge is the best: what really stands out to me is Kim's impeccable eye, taste, and design. When I lived in Boston, I would usually come in to frame things and I had very boring ideas, and Kim would make suggestions that were unique that really complemented the works I had in a much more interesting way. I now live in a different part of the country and have been to a couple other framers who are lovely, but nowhere near the artful eye of Artful Edge Framing. They stretched and framed an oil on canvas painting which had been rolled and stored in a tube for several years; they handled everything and were good at communicating potential issues with the process (fortunately no issues occurred, but I appreciate them being honest and open).

They had a large selection of frames and options (glass, mats, etc) to choose from. They were very friendly and helpful with trying to visualize the final product and showing frame samples against the actual painting.
