I’ve been going to Cava for years now, but today I tried this location for the first time. The food quality was outstanding, no doubt about that. However, the amount that they skimped on my food was unreal. I ordered the FIRE honey Harrisa chicken which is always good. When they gave me two sorry and shaken down scoops, I asked if I could get some more because I felt like I didn’t get an adequate proportion. They told me they would charge extra, which was a burden that I was willing to take on, but then when they gave me another scoop, it was also such a small amount that now I felt like I was paying for double but only receiving a single serving of chicken. I asked if they could put a little more, and they did, but i still felt that for paying double chicken prices, I only had about 1.25 servings, when I should have double. So I asked for one more scoop. In reality, I had about 3 full scoops of chicken, and two scoops is standard for a single order. THEN, my bowl came out to $34!!!!!! That’s insane!!!! I could get three chipotle bowls for that price. The staff act like the food is coming out of their paycheck. This has to be an issue, because I have ordered the same bowl at many Cava restaurants and never has it been this...
Read moreI'm Vegetarian and mostly select from the options whenever I go to any CAVA - at least customers are given that option - then you pay afterwards. Today, March 25 2024 around 3:30 pm, I was at CAVA Summer St Boston and this guy started to serving me - and anytime I tell him what I want, he rudely in a loud voice say no you can't have that ... no you can't have that ... and that's a new rule from CAVA (very strange).
The last time he served me, I noticed he was extremely rude and bears the tone of a racist - but I gave him the benefit of the doubt - and to observw whether he may repeat such arrogant behaviors in future. When I politely told him his mannerisms come forth as very rude and condescending, he boldly told me that YES he knows he is being rude.
At this stage, I requested to speak to the manager and that was when I was told he is the manager. I politely told him as a manager, he must be setting good examples for the other workers to be following. I politely left ... I personally don't think I will ever go to the branch again.
I must admit that with the exception of that rude manager, all the staffs that I have encountered at the Summer St. Boston branch of CAVA are very nice and...
