Impressed by the atmosphere and the service. The menu is limited, but the sampler was delicious. Due to a jaw injury, I didn’t get to enjoy the pickled veggies, but the hummus, labneh, marinated feta, eggplant, and very thinly sliced onions, and Za’atar were delicious!!!!
The burger I just tried a few crumbles of beef from, but I didn’t like it at all. It is supposedly a fancy brand called Pat Lafreida. I am not a fan.
BUT…
The CAPPUCCINO!!!! It was sent from God on Christmas Day to save us all…I mean…well, it at least stole the show.
Never have I tasted an espresso like this. It was the best espresso, and, dare I say, better than many a hot chocolate or tea even!!!
Apparently it’s called “Stance Coffee” and if you have not tried it, hurry!!!! You MUST try it! Why, go right this second! NOW!!!!….why you still reading this?!
The ambiance is delightful.
Sadly the handicapped/automatic doors are either nonexistent or broken, and the main doors are very heavy. I had to have someone help me get in. Thankfully the staff is super helpful and I enjoyed my visit.
The music was perfection! Excellent playlist. Classy and Christmas-y.
I appreciate the...
Read moreHad a terrible experience here with the bartenders here over all, especially “Angela P.”
She seemed upset from the start that we came in during the mid afternoon. There was no host or sign to wait to be seated. It wasn’t very busy, and we were soaking wet from the rain. So we came in and sat near the fireplace at a table to order a drink. We’ve been at the hotel for a week and at this bar multiple times and had no issues seating ourselves, especially when it wasnt busy.
At first she informed us we may need to move, although the restaurant wasn’t even half full at the time. She explained that since we only wanted drinks we’d have to make room for a table that wanted food, meanwhile there were 10+ open tables? We then received terrible service, she refused to run our check and then threw the bill at our at our table to top it off. We still tipped well but it was definitely a disappointing as we were leaving the hotel for home. Not the best taste to remember.
Witnessed another event a different night where a bartender was chastising a patron for being Ukrainian which was just uncomfortable for everyone at the bar.
Expect more out of a venue inside such an...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in the Omni Hotel. We experienced a wait of over 40 minutes for brunch. The food was good, with the Smoked Short Rib Hash and build your own omelette being particularly enjoyable, although both dishes lacked salt. The short rib was slightly greasy and featured a higher fat texture than I typically prefer. However, the turkey bacon and berry banana smoothie were pleasant, with the smoothie boasting a robust banana flavor. Unfortunately, the crispy potatoes did not meet expectations, lacking crispiness and flavor. The mimosas were satisfactory. A significant drawback was the extended wait for our meal, which exceeded our anticipated timeframe. Additionally, the price was higher than expected for the quality of...
