The food here is quite good for a fresh fast food joint. It's fresh and tasty, and seems to be pretty authentic although it's been a while since I've been to Greece. 🇬🇷

The staff seems friendly, capable, and efficient even though they have a line around lunch time sometimes going out the door.

The only area for improvement I would suggest is there online ordering system. It does not allow you to customize your order, so I can't really order ahead. The online customer service has also lacking.

There seems to be a trend around tipping at fast food restaurants which I don't really get. Tips are for service. There is really no service if I'm taking food out or I have to go to the counter and get it. This is essentially a McDonald's model, with a little bit of an assembly line so you can see your food being prepared. Tips are when you sit down, someone actually comes to your table, take your order, goes back cook your food, and brings it back to your table, checks in on you to see if you want to drink, anything else, and waits on you. No one should be giving tips at a place like this, but they set up a system that makes you feel like you have to give a tip every time you pay. It's embarrassing, but I understand if they can get away with it and they can educate the consumer to give a tip even though there's no real service, then more...

Another gyro with luke warm pork... Last time was chicken. Very dry. Decent flavor, the tomatoes are amazing. Staff was rude beyond belief, they acted like I did not exist after they put together my order. I came in at a low point in my life, very sick and unable to take care of myself so I looked pretty awful and dressed the part too. One employee actively made sure to take someone else's order right in front of me.This was a collective effort from about 3-4 employees. I can't understand why people feel the need to be hurtful and rude to others, for no reason. Not to mention doing it while refusing service... I should have walked out.... I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life ordering food except for at a McDonald's in a ghetto, and this is the upper class elite part of Boston! Shameful that any person would treat anyone this way, let alone a collective effort from several employees. I would avoid this GRECO for service reasons, and the food was mediocre and...

I ordered a chicken gyro plate with zucchini chips and an orange blossom lemonade, recommended by another Google review.

Chicken gyro plate: chicken had good flavor and texture, zucchini chips were yummy but hard to finish because they are fatty and there was a lot. I liked that the chicken and pita were warm.I think there were not enough tomatoes...I love tomatoes.

Orange blossom lemonade: There was too much going on. Strong floral flavor. Was worth trying but I didn’t enjoy it.

I was confused on how to eat the plate so I just put a little bit of everything on a pita and dipped it in the honey mustard, but there wasn’t enough pita for the whole plate. My friend got the chicken gyro and she enjoyed it, especially the fries

The restaurant layout is interesting but I wish it wasn't as compact and crowded. My fault for sitting near the tray return area but there were no other good seats. Comfy chairs though!

I think my meal was not worth the price, but it was a...

Fantastic place! Having grown up in Athens, Greece, I can say that this is the most authentic Greek food one can find in Boston. The plethora of delicious food options is complemented by the friendly and polite staff and a great location. You can always stop by if you feel like: (i) eating a healthy salad + protein (recommend "horiatiki" with "bifteki") (ii) trying some delicious greek donuts with honey, or nutella and oreos (recommend "yayias loukoumades"), (iii) getting a coffee and walking around Seaport, (iv) throwing a party by choosing the "poikilia" that in Greek means "variety". WARNING: This is for 2-3 people and recommended only when super hungry :) There is plenty of space to eat inside (in a social distancing setting as well!), but the location is also perfect for taking out and eating next to the water in Seaport with fantastic views of Boston downtown. I could not recommend this place more!

I've enjoyed Greco (other locations) in the past, so I was looking forward to having a yummy and quick lunch in Seaport during a conference. I got a Greek salad with chicken and eggplant. The eggplant was good and the veggies were fresh. The chicken seemed very plentiful, but it turned out it had a bunch of the ligaments/tendons as well as skin mixed in, and relatively little meat. I personally didn't enjoy the chicken at all, but I might have had a bad batch. The lemon rice chicken soup (avgolemono) tasted exactly like the description, so nothing much to say there. It was pretty filling. The orange lemonade was decent. The staff here are nice and there's a nice little shop with baked goods and other food items. Overall nothing stood out from what I tried, and I really didn't enjoy the chicken. I wouldn't come here again.

I recently visited Greco in Seaport, Boston, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered a salad with chicken, that was very salty and the chickpeas that came with it were so dry and had a very weird consistency. Given the high prices, I expected much higher quality food. I understand that rent can be expensive in that part of Boston, but that doesn't justify the subpar meal I received. Overall, it was not a satisfying experience, and I would not recommend it based on my visit. I have to say that I contacted the hospitality team via email and they email me back right away.
