I should have known when I walked in this Panera and the door was filthy this wasn't going to end well. I placed my order on the app which is another story - not user friendly at all. My order was ready after I walked through the dirty door, and the woman that gave it to me was very friendly. When I got to my car and checked my order, sure enough the "customizations" that I requested were not included. Their thimble sized portions of dressing aren't even enough for their small portion sized salads, so I requested extra which was not included. And in theory you get to choose a side for each entree - I choose the baguette which is usually really good. The baguettes were harder than a hockey puck, and completely dried out. When I went in to try and at least get enough dressing for the mini salad, a woman that had a badge on that said manager stepped up and was argumentative from the moment I stepped up to the counter. She said that what I ordered is what I got, even though it was clear that one side was missing. She continued to argue with me - over bread and salad dressing on a $25+ order and finally said she would give my missing items to me this time but I needed to learn how to use the app. That won't be a problem, because I won't be coming back. With as many options there are out there, I can do better with people who actually appreciate my business and won't argue with me over a piece of...

Dear Panera Bread Management, I’m writing to share a disappointing experience my wife and I had during our recent visit to your 1855 29th St, Boulder, CO 80301 store on 10/22/2025.
When we placed our order, the young woman at the counter was very pleasant. She asked whether we wanted apple and baguette sides for our two meals and also offered us chips that come with the full-size orders. We appreciated her kindness and tipped well.
However, when our food was ready, the tall gentleman who was calling out orders handed us our meals without the chips. When I politely went back to ask for them, he told me we had already received our apple and baguette and gave me just one bag of chips. The tone and manner in which he handled this felt dismissive and disrespectful.
What made the situation worse was that his attitude made me feel unwelcome — as if I were being treated differently because of my background. I’m an American citizen, but in that moment, I felt like an outsider. No customer should ever feel that way.
I returned the apple, baguette, and the chips and left feeling very disappointed. I hope this employee receives appropriate training on customer service and cultural sensitivity, so other guests do not have a similar experience.
Thank you for taking this...
Read moreI'm surprised this place is in business. The food tasted good (salad), but the restaurant suffers from an over-complicated menu and high prices (the two are related).
The menu offers something like a "pick two" option. This option means that if you choose two half-servings, you supposedly get a better deal. Neither the woman taking our orders nor her manager could give us a clear run down on what you can and cannot get with a "pick two," nor what kind of real savings it is.
I settled for a salad because it didn't involve guessing and hoping.
My friend, who never did understand why the "pick two" sandwich could not be bought at the "pick two" price, without buying another half of an item, settled for a cup of water.
I remember when Apple Computer was being run into the ground after they fired Steve Jobs. When they finally brought him back on board, he said he couldn't figure out what Apple was selling because there were so many variations and products. The same thing applies to the Panera menu, except Steve Jobs is not available for...
