Anthony's NY Pizza & Pasta House — Restaurant in Bowie

I used to patronize Anthony's NY Pizza & Pasta located in Bowie and I have always enjoyed their pizza until last week. I ordered their pepperoni pizza which happens to be my favorite and by the time I got home and tasted the pizza, it was REALLY SALTY! At this time, it was a few minutes before their closing time, but I still proceeded to call and no one answered the phone. The next day, I called to speak to a supervisor on duty and I was directed to Louise or Louis. I informed this gentleman of my experience and told him that I couldn't eat the pizza which was now sitting in my fridge. Louis then told me that he could replace the pizza, but I would have to bring back the salty pizza. I did not object to his terms, even though I found it a bit puzzling so I informed him that I could not come that particular day because I was at work and would be getting off after the stores closing time. The next day, I took the pizza to work with me so that I would present it to him on my way home from work since my hours for that day was 5am-5pm. Unfortunately, I forgot the pizza in the fridge at work when I got off from work and when I called to inform Louis, he insisted that he would need to see the pizza before he would replace the SALTY PIZZA I had received! 😯 😐😑 At this point, I wasn't ready to go back to work after being stuck in traffic for an hour and half just for me to go back and retrieve the pizza for Louis! I informed Louis of my predicament and he told me that no one else had complained of their Pizza being salty that day and that I was the only one! I ignored his statement and went ahead to inform him that I was also off from work for the next two days and he still STOOD HIS GROUND THAT HE MUST SEE THE PIZZA BEFORE IT COULD BE REPLACED! I was totally irritated and I just thanked him and hung up the phone. This incident has definitely cost Anthony's NY Pizza & Pasta House my patronage. This is not a way to treat customers and I strongly believe that Louis needs a CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING ASAP! If not, it would cost the store to loose more customers in the...

Hello Hunny Bees 🌻🐝 👑 💕💛 it's your girl Hunny with a review of another local small business. I know it's been a while I've been so busy!! So y'all know I'm Caribbean but raised in Brooklyn, NY. I love me a good NY Slice of pizza. I was having a stressful week. The devil was busy so I looked up my comfort go to food NY pizza 🍕😁. When I saw Anthony's had whine I knew I had to go. There is plenty of parking. They have 2 entrance just like NY!! I love it ❣️ I was seated and served by Giselle I think that was her name dang I'm usually good at that. Anywho the special I ordered the seafood caba I believe that's what it was called it was gorgeous and the right texture but it had no taste no seasoning I asked for old bay and seasoned that bad boy up with that and some salt and black pepper 🌶️🫑 we was good. I drank a whole bottle of wine. After that day I visited 3 more times and the service was professional, warm and great. The food is good. The pizza 5 ⭐ the wings 5star the dip, the shrimp one appetizer menu Amazing 🤩. The tables are intimate feels elegant but like you're at home at the same time!!

I can start by saying this was my first and last time coming to Anthony's. We ordered two 16" pizzas, 1/2 doz garlic knots and 12 wings.

Sadly the pizza was just poorly prepared, way too thin in the middle it just flopped around but the crust was so thick it was hard to chew threw and in general just not very good. The grandmas pizza in theory was yummy, kind of like a margharita but it was soggy where the pizza sauce was thrown on and the buffalo chicken piZza was just bland with extremely dry and tough chicken on top. The garlic knots we were just jipped. They only gave us 3 so that was $6 or so down the drain. I don’t know how to wu just serve half an order…did the staff eat the other half in the store? Ridiculous!! Lastly the wings, these wings were literally some of the worst wings I have had in a while. They were skimpy on the sauce, the wings were dry and again just bland.

Overall, I do not recommend coming here since there is better pizza out here but they do have a 10% discount for teachers and first responders so that’s not too...
