LandShark Bar & Grill - Branson — Restaurant in Branson

Went here for my birthday dinner out, excited to try a new restaurant, but left disappointed! The hostess and our waitress both were very friendly and did good, we were seated immediately, and the decor is fun and trendy, but that is where the positives end. The food was over-priced and barely edible. The spinach artichoke dip tasted like the generic frozen dip you unthaw in the microwave. Husband ordered a cheeseburger, water, and was told if he wanted to substitute fries or a side salad instead of chips that it would be an extra $2. He said the water tasted like it was dish water and couldn't drink it. The chips were so greasy he couldn't eat them, and both his cheeseburger and our sons kids meal cheeseburger were the same size. (Literally squished one chip in a napkin and it was translucent with grease!) Daughter's hotdog kids meal, the hotdog was both burnt and shriveled and the bun was so hard she couldn't bite it. No fruit or healthy side item choice for kids. I had the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl the waitress recommended as her favorite, but we must not share similar taste in food! The first bite I got a big piece of gristle, and despite the pineapple in the bowl, the sauce had weird bitter undertones. Literally took 5-6 bites, mostly of rice, and couldn't eat any more bc of flavor. When the busboy took our plates and noted they were all mostly full, he asked if we'd like to go boxes, told him no thanks, we weren't impressed and he said oh okay and cleared the table like no big deal. The waitress brought me a piece of complimentary key lime pie and wished me a happy birthday, we each took a couple bites and that was more than enough bc the texture and flavor were off on that as well. The kids were disappointed they didn't sing like most restaurants. She brought 4 spoons with the pie, one of which was dirty with food on it still. They had Mr. Pibb instead of Dr. Pepper, and a strawberry lemonade was $4 with no free refills. Likely our first...

Probably wouldn't eat here ever again. Its a bar and grill and I couldnt even get my drink!

At first we had super fast service, I ordered the 5 o'clock somewhere cocktail and then never saw it. After the waitress took our order we never saw her again until we were almost done with our food. I reminded her about the drink and just asked her to take it off the bill. This was about 35 minutes after i ordered it.

She never came to fill up our waters or sodas and was standing in the back corner the entire time. We were so thirsty!! I ended up flagging someone down for a water refill.

Only about 4 tables inside and 8 tables outside. Seemed to be tons of employees working but a lot of them standing around in the far back corner messing with some register receipt paper thing. Literally 5 people all trying to do 1 task.

Food was OK I guess. They give you super dried out crunchy potato chips with your meal and I wish they would have said when we ordered it "that meal comes with chips... is that ok?" Because my kids would have 100% ordered fries. Do people actually prefer chips over fries? I would have even ordered side fries once the food got there but then again i never saw this waitress.

My family and I chose your restaurant to have a meal during our weekend trip to Branson. When we checked in, we were told we would have a 30min wait, which was reasonable. However, during the check-in process, the staff member ignored us to watch another group of people entering the restaurant, leaving us confused. We were not sure the check-in process was even completed properly. After we sat at our table, we waited exactly 11min without anyone else even acknowledging our presence. We had to flag down a bus person/server assist to inquire where our server was. They ended up sending a server, who I assume was never even assigned to us. She did a great job at taking our drink and dinner orders, however, she was also assigned tables outside on the patio, so was unable to help us as much as she wished. After our food came out, we had to wait 17min until a manager came out to give us the condiments we wanted for our meal. During this entire time, there were 4 "greeters" at the front door literally standing around, leaning on the counter and drinking soda, while patrons at the restaurant were waiting for drinks and servers. Based on this experience, especially with regards to the greeters, I would never come here again nor recommend this restauarant to any of...
