We were greeted as soon as we walked in, told we would be seated but menus had to be sanitized so we would receive them shortly. The hostess brought them over in a minute or two (not very long at all) and asked for our drink orders. We ordered three sushi rolls, and an order of plain lomein noodles; we were brought out bowls of miso soup as well as refills for our water within a few minutes of ordering. After finishing the soup, the noodles and two of the rolls were brought out in about 5 or 10 minutes. The third roll (the largest) was brought out a couple minutes after that. All the food was really good, especially for the price and compared to many other restaurants that sell sushi. The miso soup tasted slightly like fish but not just like a bunch of seaweed as some places does. The lomein had a faint chicken flavor even though it only had veggies in it, which I thought made it taste very good. All three rolls were large, more filling than a lot of sushi I have had. I could barely eat the entire Salmon Volcano roll and had to take the noodles home. My husband had the Branson roll and the King Albacore and also barely finished. The server came by several times to check that our food was okay and that we had enough water, she was polite and attentive the entire time. Definitely will come here again the next time we are in Branson.

This is a wonderful place to eat. The food was delicious. The sushi was fresh and the color was beautiful. The grilled shrimp was perfectly cooked. The miso soup and ginger salad were absolutely amazing. The price was average for other sushi places we’ve eaten. The waitress was absolutely amazing. She didn’t bother you unnecessarily. She came at just the right times. She kept empty dishes off our table. I had ordered the dinner plate rather than the lunch plate. They brought out a lunch plate and within 30 seconds she swooped over grabbed the plate and apologized and whisked off to the kitchen. I didn’t know what was wrong with the plate but knew something was or she wouldn’t have done that. She came back out and apologized again and told me she was getting me a dinner plate size order. So, they had evidently sent out a lunch plate. When she brought it back out it was definitely a bigger serving. I cannot brag on her attentiveness enough.

While a bit tucked away. Momo is close to the heart of the Branson landing and nearly shares parking with the Branson scenic railway. Once inside the atmosphere was cool inviting and pleasant and our server did an excellent job. I ordered. The three item combination plate and frankly it was a lot of food. I’m a big eater and took home an entire extra roll. Over 2000 other reviewers have given this 4.5 stars I can’t quite go that high. The salad was a bit wet. The house dressing lacked acid and was a little heavy on the sesame the miso soup was excellent, and if I’m honest the sushi while perfectly acceptable just lacked pop. For some reason, it seemed a touch bland. even the sashimi seemed plain. so I find no fault but I can’t award a five star for the food. if you’re in Branson and having an itch for some Japanese food You won’t be disappointed by Momo’s fair. If you’re looking for extraordinary Japanese, this probably isn’t it.

(For those short on time or attention span, a summary will be provided at the bottom, for the rest, please continue)

My family had originally planned to eat at Paula Dean's on the landing, however after hearing of a nearly 3 hour wait, we decided to do something else, While searching through the list of "restaurants near us" on Google maps, we stumbled on this place, and as most of us enjoy sushi, we figured sure, "why not?" Apon calling MoMo's, we were pleasantly suprsised that our call was answered instantly (which was in stark contrast to most places we had tried to call before ) and were told that we could be seated immediately. We hurriedly dashed over as to not get caught in the rain, and as we walked through the door we were greeted by a wonderful and warm atmosphere, both from the warmth of the building and the staff. We were seated immediately at a table in the middle of the restaurant. We were all pleasantly suprised at how much space the individual seats afforded each of us (as we had been to Guy Fieri's restaurant the night before and had found the booths cramped and claustrophobic). As we began to take a look at the menu our server arrived promptly and took our drink orders; a round of waters and soft drinks for the table as well as a few hot sakes (sa-kay) we were informed(to our delight) by our server that it was happy hour (from 3-5) and that there was a special menu with reduced prices on drinks and food, so we looked over what was offered and one by one selected a round of appetizers to get us started. We ordered the crab Rangoon and the pan fried gyoza(avaliable in a steamed variety for those who prefer a softer dish). No sooner had we put in our appetizer order did our server return with a platter of drinks, and after distributing them to their respective places he took our dinner order as well. I ordered the fried spicy crab roll (8 pieces for only 6 dollars, quite a deal for how expensive sushi can be these days) as well as a California roll. Shortly after our server had walked away he returned with our appetizers, as well as complementary miso soups. I found the soup to be very good, it was warm and salty but not too much(as a good miso soup should be). Our appetizers appeared soon after and were fresh and tasty, the gyoza that I so anticipated was warm and crispy with a delicious dipping sauce to boot. After a very enjoyable round of appetizers our main course soon arrived, my first impressions of the roll were ones of slight confusion. As the menu didn't provide a picture or description of the roll, I had quite a different mental than the dish that was now before me. Never the less, it still looked apatizing enough so I decided to give it a try. To my suprise it was quite good. Much better than I had expected. As I enjoyed the remainder of my rolls I decided to try the California roll aswell. I am personally of the opinion, that the quality(or lack there of) a places California roll is very telling of the general quality and care taken to the rest of the other things in the restaurant. I found this particular roll to be one of the freshest tasting rolls that I've had in quite awhile and it was a pleasant accessory to my main dish. As we concluded our meal, our server brought us some boxes to take the rest of our dish with us. Overall, I found the experience very enjoyable in both the food and quality of service, our server was very knowledgeable about the food and very professional as well. I can say for certian that if given the chance I will be back again

A short summary. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, will...

We ordered sushi and a couple of entrees from Momo's tonight through the doordash app for pickup, not delivery. The server made an honest mistake and missed 2 of the rolls that we ordered when she sent our order to the kitchen. Not a big deal, everybody makes mistakes. We live 15 minutes away from the restaurant and it was a pickup order. we didn't discover the missing rolls until we got home and then, just to make sure it wasn't our mistake, we checked the receipt from the restaurant against the door dash receipt and found the restaurant hadn't given us all of our order. When we called, the employee we spoke to said we could just get a refund on door dash for the 2 missing rolls. We attempted to do so but the order hasn't been marked as having been picked up so we called them back and they closed out the order. We followed their instructions to try to receive a refund through doordash and the app said we couldn't get a refund for some unknown reason. It was a lot of money to lose so we decided to call them back to have them make the rolls and then drive back into town to pick them up. First we were told that even though it was their fault the rolls weren't made in the first place, they could not make them now or offer recompense of any kind because the manager basically said it was a doordash problem, not their problem. We were dumbfounded and thought we'd been hung up on when the employee suddenly came back on the phone and said they would make them if we were willing to drive out to pick it up. We went back to the restaurant and while the server was very apologetic and polite, the manager was extremely rude and acted as though we were trying to get free food or something when we had the physical receipt as well as the doordash receipt showing physical proof of the problem. I really don't know how such a condescending and impolite person becomes the manager of a restaurant (maybe she attended Nurse Ratched's School of Hospitality?), but that experience will be our last at Momo's, which is disappointing because the food is delicious. We're also upset with doordash for not issuing a refund and saving us a 30 minute round trip journey and the displeasure of meeting the manager of what used to be one of our favorite...

I ate here last night as a group of 4. Ordered 2 New York strip meals and 2 choice of 3s and a few appetizers. She acted like she had an attitude for the amount of food we ordered. My waitress forgot only my salad knowing that they were the same kinds of meals purposefully gave me just my soup walked past me to my boyfriend and gave him a salad. I waited 15 minutes for her to come back around to the table and by then my mom let me have her salad, then my mom just asked for the salad for her. Food comes out and she forgets again only my food. We asked for sauce and waited about 5minutes. I then waited about 40 minutes for her to come around to our table again and my boyfriend said “where’s my girlfriends food?” Because they were all already done eating and I was still waiting. Her response was “I don’t think I rung it in?” Which should’ve been impossible because mine was the first thing on the order. She came back and said “2 more minutes” then when I received my food it was incorrect and it was cold (with that being said I know my food had been done and she just forgot to bring it, assuming they tried just reheating it?) This waitress was just a no go, I probably won’t eat here again. She never even refilled our drinks. My food was incorrect from her doing because she rang my rice in as steamed rice and not fried rice. Was cold. My food tasted plain because I could not have my sauce that I asked for because she did not give enough for everybody. Rarely would come to our table for me to even have a chance to ask her for more, which is why I didn’t. By the time I got my food we asked for to go boxes instead so that we could go home because we had been at the restaurant for an hour and a half because of all the waiting. Which is sad because I used to eat at this place all the time and I have even bragged… I’m very disappointed considering I spent $200. This was my first time going out to eat since having my baby 2 weeks ago. I wanted to have a nice night and this was not the place to do so I guess. The only thing I have good to say about it was that the presentation of the food was nice, the appetizers tasted fine, would’ve been better with the sauce I asked for.. and the...
