This attraction needs a rating system to inform parents/guardians of the apparent intensity of the experience. My two sons (9 and 6) and my two nephews (12 and 9) were with grandma and a couple of the moms in the toy store area while the rest of us broke away into a different shopping group. While walking past this establishment my mother and the grandkids were met on the sidewalk outside of the store encouraging them to come in and try out this new type of experience. My mother (Grandmother to all of the boys) specifically asked if it was acceptable for kids of this age and the girl said "Oh yeah! They'll be fine. They'll love it!" What they didn't tell her was that the kids could make a choice of what experience they wanted AFTER they were taken into the store away from her because only people who pay can go in behind the curtain. Without any available parental supervision, council, or guidance, this group of boys chose to fight zombies. Did they have fun? Nope. My six year old will probably have nightmares for months after this. Tonight, after a short walk down a dark path between the swimming pool and the lodge we're staying at, I've never seen him so gripped with fear. That's a first. He's a very brave kid for his age. Now it seems that the kids only want to talk about being safe from zombies for the rest of our vacation. Parents/guardians and street observers who don't pay to go in can watch on a video screen outside. Look at the screenshots I'm posting. Does it look like he/they were being entertained or terrorized? Our family is pretty upset that the staff didn't disclose the intensity of the experience and allowed kids of this age to pick their own adventure. Be sure you know what's going on before you let your kids go in to "have fun" on this...
Read moreThe guy at desk initially was very attentive and welcoming.
Then comes Bridge** (couldn’t read entire plate as she was wearing jacket) , boy she had really bad morning for sure the way she attended everyone.
Why 2 stars? Attender was welcoming at the start. They are Not mixing groups during rides. My kids were able to have their 2 shows for themselves.
Why only 2 stars: Groupon ticket of 4 rides and 2 maze doesn’t say for how many people it is. Left customers to assume that a family for 4 can go on ride and then the two kids can go into the maze.. nope.. their side of story: 4 rides shared across the same two kids that enter mirror maze. I’d like it spelled out on the...
Read moreI found a groupon for the 7D Dark Ride Adventure and Mirror Maize and I am glad I did!! I purchased two groupons so everyone in our group could ride the 7D Dark Ride twice each, and each time we had a different ride. The Ride itself has some zombies and some creepy clowns and some jump scares but nothing too scary. The sound, wind and total environment/experience of the ride were really cool. Our ages ranged from 9-55 and we all had a blast!! Once purchased you are able to do the mirror maize as many times as you want and it was fun and entertaining as well. The lights change colors as you walk around finding your way through the maize. Would definiately recommend and would do them...
