Branson Landing is one of those places you've GOT to check out if you're in the area. If you want to have time to get through all of it, plan for more time by going earlier in the day. It takes a while to get through it all. Of course, that also kind of depends on what your goal of being there is - if it's to shop, and you want to go into all/most places, then yeah - you'll need all day. If you want to slide into a few interesting stores/places, and also sort of take in the surroundings, 4-5 hours may be adequate. If you only have an hour or two, walking and merely window shopping, and stopping where the water fountains are at the top of the hour, to see the water fountain display - would be a great way to spend your little bit of time at The Branson Landing.
Every hour on the top of the hour up until 9p (I believe it is)... they do a water fountain display, with synchronized music, fire, lights, and hugely tall water fountains that spray impressively high up into the air. It's a sight to see for sure - so if you're anything like me, you'll for SURE want to make sure you make it to see at LEAST one of these top-of-the-hour displays.
At one end of 'The Landing' is a Bass Pro Shops, and at the other end is a Paula Deen Restaurant and a Belks store, as well as a 'hot air balloon ride.'
You can park on either end of the landing, depending on which end you want to start on.
The Landing has that 'bigger city feel' in the heart of the Ozarks - and you sort of get the best of both worlds with the variety, and tall beautifully landscaped surroundings, but here in the Ozarks.
This is just one of the many super fun and wonderful things about Branson - and I highly...
Read moreLOVE the landing!!! Great shopping, dining, and entertainment! I love to go to the arcade and the 7D VR ride experience, grab a drink at Andy B's, Joe's, or the Taproom, so many GREAT dining options for meals and tasty treats at places like flaming margarita, Joe's Crab Shack, and Crepes N Cream, and even though I'm not much of a shopper, it's nice to have so many options for when it's unavoidable. We love to go to Francesca's when my daughter needs a dress, my love to go to Bass Pro when we need a new item for camping or hiking adventures. There's a great toy store that has more board games than you can even imagine, and we are big board game people. Victoria's Secret for undergarment needs for me and my daughter. A very cool store that is like a build your own remote control car store. And so many other stores for all the things one needs in life, shoes, clothes, kitchen items, I genuinely hate shopping, but if it has to be done, I love that I can do it all in one place while also finding great food and entertainment. On top of all of that, there's also a little walking trail right next to the landing where you can get your steps in as well as stop and sit on floating docks on the lake. Just an all-around...
Read moreBranson Landing isn’t just an outdoor shopping area—it’s a full-on experience. I visited over 4th of July weekend, and even though the city held their fireworks the night before, we still caught multiple firework shows lighting up the sky as we strolled along the waterfront and explored the shops. One of the best parts? The hourly Fountain Show. I recommend catching the 8:00 PM performance—it’s more than just water and music; it includes actual bursts of fire! The show is quick but beautiful, so get there early because people grab spots fast. We saw folks sitting on benches, walls, and even a family picnicking on a grassy patch with a blanket and a portable barbecue—such a vibe! The area is packed with tons of stores, restaurants, and places to rest, making it great for couples, families, or solo exploring. I do wish I could’ve grabbed a drink and walked around with it, but that’s probably just me being used to places where that’s allowed. With hotels right on the strip offering Fountain Show views and a family-friendly atmosphere, Branson Landing is a must-do. It’s lively, scenic, and a perfect way to spend an evening—I’d absolutely...
