If I we're Paula Deen, I would be mortified at serving the nastiest "Mac & Cheese" I have ever tasted in 52 years. My GOD, they didn't even taste it before bringing it out! It was just full of a gritty texture. I couldn't even swallow it, I had to spit it out in my napkin. Someone please tell me where the he'll she is finding these "Cooks", I can say this because I make the best meatloaf. I would put mine up against hers anytime she would like. That Garbage loaf looked like a big Ole roll of Bologna, it had the exact same texture. It wasn't bologna, but it was sliced thin just like bologna. All they did was dump some ketchup on it and call it a day. I would be so ashamed if I we're Her. Your name is on that Ms Deen. You need to go make a surprise inspection and taste that stuff. That's not something to be proud of. How in the world do you let folks bring "food" out of that kitchen without even tasting it.

I tried the 4 entree and 4 sides for $28 per meal. My Hubby did as well. As for my first entree', I tried the pot roast. Except for an odd additive flavor like vinegar or maybe wine, the roast was tender and was lean. The 2nd entree was Meatloaf. You already heard about that train wreck! The next entree was the Country Fried Steaks. These are the same Country Fried Steaks you get frozen in a bag at any restaurant. They always taste good. The next entree was Catfish. I have never liked it, but today you knocked the Fish out of the park!

Now, the 4 sides...Mac & Cheese, I really didn't think it was possible to screw up Mac & Cheese, especially from a Southern Kitchen, it was completely inedible! The next side was corn on the cob. Since when do Southerners serve corn on the Cob with not a drop of butter or salt on it...MY GOSH! Moving right along with the next side with Green Beans. I don't know many folks that just dump a ton of onions in the greenbeans, cook for 30 seconds, and serve the green beans with hard, not cooked onions at all! The last side was the creamed potatoes. I have to say that they were possibly the best creamed potatoes I've ever had. Perfectly buttered and salted. I guess since it's the tastiest thing on the list, you can't get more than half of a cereal bowl full at a time for 2 fullsize adults at the table. There wasn't even 2 helpings in the bowls. We had to ask for a total of 4 bowls of potatoes. For $28 each, I would think that we could get a proper amount of potatoes for each adult, but since it was the only side that tasted good, they had to stretch it as far as they could go. We didn't ask for seconds of anything except the potatoes. The meal is served Family Style, so you can ask for more of anything you like.

I was very much at rest with the Merchandising out in the shop. It had a real peaceful feeling. It was overpriced, but beautiful. The servers were kind. We had asked ours to please bring us another bowl of mashed potatoes that were full, but she said they wouldn't put anymore in the bowl than 1/4 full, that's why it took 2 more bowls. I should have asked for our money back, but I wasn't feeling my best after the Meatloaf. I just went back to my hotel and laid down. I got sick an hour later and threw lunch up.

We all LOVE you Paula, that's why we come to visit your place. This is now the 2nd time my Hubby and I have come to your kitchen. The first time was in Tunica, MS, that we tried the first time. If I would have thought more about that first experience, I would have never put my Hubby through it again. The first experience was awful and I should have never come back. That is a mistake I will never make again. I'm sad to say that because I get a kick out of listening to you, but I will never eat at your table again. Your supposed to care about others your cooking for...you failed me on Sunday, September 1st at 11am. I drove all night from Troy, MO to come there at 11am to be the first for Lunch. Oh, I forgot about the 2 desserts...I chose the banana pudding. I guess you don't make them taste that either. That was another bite I couldn't swallow....

Located at the end of the Branson Landing Shopping District, just across from Belk Paula Deens, it offers Southern-style entrees served in what they call a family-style setting. This means everyone at the table partakes in the main entrees and side items collectively. They serve both lunch and dinner with the same menu, however, there is a price increase with dinner, so keep that in mind. All of your meals includes unlimited refills except the dessert. Once you are seated with your family or friends let the waitress know that it's your first time there and they will explain it all to you.

The menu is broken up into two main sections, in the top section you can choose how many main entrees you want (two, three or four) then the bottom half has your actual choice of entrees and side dishes. No matter how many entrees you decide to get the meal comes with four side items. They do not offer take home boxes, therefore what ever you order you must eat there. They do give you the option to take your desert home which is what my girlfriend and I chose to do.

Entree choices Ol’ Fashion Southern Meatloaf, Georgia Fried Catfish, Chicken and Dumplings, Spare Ribs, Country Fried Steak and White Gravy, Chicken Fried Pork Chops, Beef Pot Roast and their famous Best Ever Southern Fried Chicken. Side item choices are Green Beans, Creamed Potatoes, Collard Greens, Fresh Candied Yams, Creamed Corn, Buttered White Rice, Coleslaw, Poppy Tossed Salad, Baked Mac and Cheese, Corn on the Cob, Broccoli Casserole, Fried Okra and BBQ Baked Beans. Fresh garlic Cheddar Biscuits were given to us as well. Desert options include Seasonal Cobbler, Banana Pudding, and Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.

The Biscuits came to the table pipping hot and were divine. For our entrees, we picked Ol’ Fashion Meatloaf and Southern Fried Chicken. The Best Ever Southern Fried Chicken is well-named and we can see why they could be Famous. The batter was crispy and flavorful while the chicken was plump, tender and juicy. I wish I could give the Meat Loaf praise as well but unfortunately I can not. I will say that it wasnt dry however, it lacked a fresh flavor and was smothered with a bland tomato sauce.

Our slides were BBQ Baked Beans, Creamed Corn, Fried Okra and Creamed Potatoes. We enjoyed all of our sides except the BBQ Baked Beans. According to the recipe on Paula Deens website pork and beans are supposed to be used however, they used what appeared to be a white bean like a Northern or Navy Bean. The choice of beans wasnt the issue, it was the lack of everything else that goes into BBQ Baked Beans. In fact the only thing we could taste was bell pepper. The flavor of bell pepper was so overwhelming that you couldnt taste mustard, ketchup, maple syrup or bacon.

Except for the Meatloaf and BBQ Baked Beans the meal was delicious and worth the $25 a person for all you can eat. The desserts was enjoyable as well. My girlfriend had the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and I had the Apple Cobbler. I am sorry Paula Deen, however as good as your Cobbler was, it cant compare to my family recipe, but maybe I’m a bit prejudice.

The atmosphere of the Resturant was spot on Southern decor and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Kimberly Rachael was our server on our visit and she did fantastic. The shop has over 3,000 quality retail items picked by the Paula Deen.

Paula Deens has a few other locations that I am aware of including Nashville and Pigeon Forge TN and Myrtle Beach NC. We plan on visiting one of those...

Eat at Pine‘s all the time love this restaurant waiters know us when we come in. We love the restaurant but we had an experience July 3, 2025. We ordered the Albany fried chicken r instead of her to ask how my son was feeling she wanted to tell me how they was watching us walk around and watch fireworks. Well we drove quite a ways over even though we eat there every other month and the last few times it has been pretty sloppy. We ordered fried chicken corn roast with rice, cream, potatoes, okra, green beans and when I called in and told her about it if you guys click on the review, you’ll see My Son‘s hospital band. She was more concerned about us walking around watching the fireworks after we left. The restaurant did not even eat it. My Son did told the lady we didn’t want it to take it back. She brought more food out that we did not even touch paid her and left. My Son had to use the restroom almost 5 times that I can remember of him going into several restaurants. She should’ve seen that instead of stocking us watching fireworks how many times he had to go in and use the restroom and was throwing up from the Roast that was so grease soaked and wet roast is not supposed to be wet but Paula D needs to get some better staff they should worry about their customers instead of what their customers are there for we was there for the firework show, but we wanted something to eat and we look at Paula Deen’s like a Cracker Barrel just somewhere to go if you want home-cooked food be honest would rather went to Golden corral or Cracker Barrel you know to hang up in my ear while I am telling her what happened I could see if she was talking about namebrand restaurants like show guns Rue Chris, and many more namebrand restaurants I could name off cheesecake factory we eat out a lot of good restaurants, but we will not be going back to Pauline’s anytime soon, but My Lawyer will be speaking with them. Why was she stocking us? She should’ve stocked My Son happened to go in the bathroom four or five times had to take him in across the street to a game room and bar and then had to take him to the bass pro shop then we had to walk over to Mac doodles and she’s more concerned about watching us walk and watch fireworks and tell us that he look fine and she had to have five or more guest call in and say that they were sick come on just like when they bring food out I have watched them the food that we did not take off our table. They give to another guest because we didn’t touch the roast or the chicken. Paula needs to hire some more better staff that knows how to take care of their customers not trying to stock them and wonder what they’re doing but if you click on the post, you’ll see my son‘s hospital me and I did mark out his name and date of birth but Alaeddin if you see this, you do not have no trained management. You have somebody that just hangs up the phone and don’t even ask how your child is doing once they are sick. We didn’t eat the food. I asked her just to take it back. She brought more food out instead. I just wanted to get out of there. I paid the bill. I did not want to look at the food in my face no more it was making me...
