I've heard so much about this place from my daughter. I'm not a TikTok-er, so this whole craze is new to me. The cookie flavors change weekly- from Twix to Crunch Berries to Fudge...the list goes on and on. Her favorite is Cake Batter, which was not an option this week. The closest location is about 12 miles from home. We stopped in before seeing a show at the Brea Improv. She kept saying, "the flavors suck this week." But it's a cookie! You can't really go wrong... Especially with these cookies. They are hardly cookies. They are more like single layer personal cakes. They have the option to get either a single cookie, which is about $4 and some change; the four pack which is about $15; or the party pack. We chose the four pack: cinnamon fry bread, cotton candy, classic sugar and caramel apple. The berries and cream option this week didn't seem interesting enough, so we skipped it. The sugar cookie is one of the flavors that does not rotate. It has just a thin layer a pink frosting. Now, if you like marzipan or anyting almond extract, get the sugar cookie! It's not as rich, not as sweet, and definitely the easiest to swallow without a glass of milk. On a scale of 1 to 10 for each cookie... Classic sugar- 10! Cotton candy - 6. It didn't taste very much like cotton candy. Very sweet. Has more eye appeal than flavor. Caramel apple- 3. There was more frosting then there was cookie. I tasted neither Apple nor caramel. Cinnamon fry bread- 9. Basically a snickerdoodle. No frosting. Not too sweet. Just yummy ooey gooey goodness! After learning the variety a flavor options, I think I would have to agree that the flavors did kind of suck this week. I am definitely going to keep an eye out more interesting flavors. There is no doubt a large amount of creativity that goes into easy recipes. I'm more of a cupcake kind of girl, but I will definitely be keeping Crumbl...
Read moreLove crumble cookies but the customer service here is 0. We came into the Brea store around 9:15 on a Saturday night. It was not full of people or busy when we came In. My single star review is solely based on the fact that not one of the 5 people working behind the counter said a single word to us when we walked in ( hello, welcome-NOT A WORD) or even acknowledge our presence, ask if we needed help or offered to take an order-NOT A SINGLE WORD. All were busy with cookies and talking amongst themselves and could clearly see us as we could see them-but NOT A WORD- we finally placed our order on the one working order tablet and our $30 worth of cookies were handed to us by just a call of a name-the one and only word spoken. What I really wanted to do was speak to a manager and share my thoughts about the customer service (or lack thereof) and not post a public review-but couldn’t get anyone to speak to us. So,we may not return here again any time...
Read moreTried this place out for the first time after visiting the redwood grove in the city of Brea and the cookies did NOT disappoint The menu rotates apparently but I was able to try three different cookies (mini's) for $8.99 The selection is all made electronically on tablets and the payments are card only I was able to try the Confetti milkshake, the Sticky bun (my favorite), and the Kentucky Butter Cake I loved the fact that the latter two were slightly warm and that all three cookies were soft 🤗 I would definitely recommend and go back myself if the opportunity presents itself in the future
The service could've been better but since this place is basically an order and pick-up, I can understand the lack of customer interaction Still, an acknowledgment as you walk in the door is always acceptable and shows good customer service regardless of the amount of interaction that takes place between customer and...
