Cute place with a nice patio and full bar right in the heart of Brenham. We stopped because they offered gluten free pizza and wings. We ordered the cauliflower Hawaiian pizza and bacon Caesar salad. The food came out timely but quite disappointed with quality/product. The pizza wasn’t marked in any way that it was a cauliflower crust. Most gluten free dishes are marked in some way. Gluten free folks have a lot of anxiety about eating out, so maybe you could flag dishes somehow with the extra $5 charged. Just a suggestion! I couldn’t eat the salad as I forgot to ask to put the croutons on the side. The croutons were so small and mixed in with the salad there was no way to pick them out. The lettuce and chicken did not look appealing at all and we had to ask for the dressing. The Caesar dressing was warm! Very cheap plastic ware was distributed on our tray with the food. We had to ask for styrofoam plates! Also charged .25 cents for a water cup! Will not be back unless we go to sit on the patio and...
Read moreWe where heading for Temple for the Solar Eclipse and had time to kill on the way from Houston so decided to head into Downtown Brenham for Dinner. The menu for 30 North looked interesting, we where not looking for a full service restaurant so this fit the bill. The building is cool and with lots of seating and 3 different areas to be seated. You order and pay and recieve a buzzer that will let you know when your food is ready. We where 5, 3 kids and 2 adults, I ordered pizza, wife ordered a steak sandwich, kids ordered buffalo wings and 2 burgers. The fries looked really interesting with different toppings. Overall we were disappointed. The pizza was pretty good, however the sandwichs and burgers where dry and not that tasty. The Buffalo wings were pretty average but the fires which looked great had a weird dryness to them which took away he flavor. They were not burnt but tasted almost freeze dried. For the price I was disappointed. This place has potential but they need to fix the...
Read moreI do not like leaving poor reviews, but I must be honest. My family all had sandwiches. My sons had phillysteaks, my daughter had a BLT, and I had a burger. At best it was medicore. My burger was way overcooked, no flavor, and the bun was hard. Same for my sons phillysteaks, and my daughters BLT, overcooked and bread was hard. The fries were also, just okay. Not a fan of the tiny pieces. I'd prefer seeing wedges or straight cut. I'm hoping the pizzas are a lot better, but I won't be returning to find out. Word of advice to the owners. Steer away from frozen as best as possible. I could tell the burger had been frozen. I'd rather have a good burger juicy flavorful burger. I saw the meat was 44 farms, which now puts a bad mark towards them as well. As for the atmosphere, I like it in concept. If I lived in Brenham, this alone would bring me back for drinks from the bar and a nice place to hang out, but boogie alone does not keep customers. As mentioned before, the food would keep me...
