Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Brenham

This place used to be very good with everything, I don't know what's going on now. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger meal online, and when I spoke to this lady that seem to maybe be a manger picked up my order, everything that I asked not to be on the burger was on the burger with no mushrooms at all and a few grilled onions like literally a few as in a pinch hardly could tell they were any at all. I notified an employee of the issue. I think Mel was her name, who made me aware that they were out of mushrooms and that she'll have them remake the whole order over, but the manager I assume that was in a red shirt never said anything about any issues when I picked up my order. Mel brings my order back out, and even though they were out of mushrooms, there still was a pinch of grilled onions which you would think they would accommodate you more since they're out of what I actually ordered, which I honestly should've never been charged for since I got the bare minimum burger and not what I actually asked for due to shortage of products. So I had to ask for a side of grilled onions, which Mel and another employee helped me out with. Staff was great besides the lady not telling me anything once I picked up the order, she just let me grab and go and never confirmed anything. WARNING! Do not eat here! Our meal was terrible! The only reason we didn’t send the food back was because my 12 year old son and my fiancé were starving and we had already had to wait a half hour on the food to arrive. We ordered the crispy chicken crispers, honey chipotle chicken crispers, quesadilla, Texas cheese fries, molten lava cake, the skillet chocolate chip cookie and sweet tea. None of the meals looked or tasted fresh. All of the chicken was over cooked, very dry and small strips. The quesadilla had very little meat, the tiny pieces of meat that were in it were burnt, tortilla wasn’t cooked enough, and the only flavor it had was of burnt meat. The molten lava cake was also over cooked and tasted like a Walmart cake. The Texas cheese fries were also very bland with less than a handful of super soft fries in the skillet, four tiny bacon bits and a ton of cheese. Even the sweet tea was way too sweet. I had to add water to it. The cookie was good though, so there’s that. At least our server, Nichole P, was AWESOME! She should be promoted to manager or be offered a position with a better business. I was inroute to Austin going from one job straight to another and had not eaten all day. I was actually needing to eat which is rare. Anyhow, I am super familiar with Chili's menu and I know what I like there, and what I order is quick to get out and quick to eat. I entered the place and stood at the doorway for a good 2 minutes while hosts and servers saw me but decided to ignore my existence. I went and sat at the bar thinking I would get service there...sat there for 15 minutes no bartender came out. Again, servers passing through but not even a "Sir we'll right with you" What the .... Chili's in Brenham!!! You wasted my time! I gave up and walked out. If the meet and greet was that poor, imagine how the food would be and the service if I ever got served. I refuse to pay for bad service. I never like to leave a bad review...Being a business owner myself, I know what they can do to your reputation. So I am leaving this one out of love in hopes that this will help the management keep a closer eye on the floor and their customers. Pull up Chili's in Brenham TX. You aren't right with me and I won't be coming back. I did not slam you with one star but you deserved it... No need...
