My family and I ordered our food through the drive-thru, which was very speedy. All three dinners, two Ultimate Fettucinis and one Baked Spaghetti, were ordered as meals with side salads and drinks. I had one of the Ultimate Fettuccines. It would have been a great dish had the chicken not been SOOOOO salty and VERY dry! The sauce was also very thick, like it'd been sitting for a long time and wasn't very fresh. Some of the noodles were softer than others. Now, I worked at Olive Garden for four years many years ago and may just be comparing the two, but pasta is very inexpensive to make and shouldn't cost this much unless the toppings and additions are exquisite. Also, the breadsticks are WAY too buttery and salty. Every one of the breadsticks looked as if they were sitting in a vat of butter until we arrived. After I took a bite, I could see that the bottom half of the breadstick was yellow, from being soaked in gross butter, while the top half was still white. Lol, breadsticks are supposed to be BRUSHED with butter/margarine/oleo, meaning on the top...not dipped in the stuff like a friggin' dipped cone! I rated my experience with two stars because the pasta was otherwise decent. It could have used more broccoli and less chicken, if you can believe that, lol, just cuz the chicken was so dry and salty. I now remember why I haven't been back there in many years. There used to be a location on Graham Rd. The last time I was there, there were gnats/fruit flies all over the sofa refill station because no one ever cleaned any of the soda spickets. I know this because I wanted to investigate after seeing all of the fruit flies, smelled a gross smell near the soda station, and tasted a strange taste in my soda along with something black on my cup. So, I removed the little nozzle/spicket from one of the soda dispensers and saw probably years of dirt, decay, dust, and gnat droppings & eggs & larvae inside of it. I was utterly disgusted and told one of the workers that they needed the health dept in there STAT! I left immediately and just left my dinner sitting on the table. No way did I want anything from that place. I should have called the health dept, but i stupidly didn't. I hope someone else did. It's obvious something happened cuz that location is closed now. I just hope that this Bridgeton location is keeping up with cleanliness. The excessive seasoning could be the result of a dirty grill. Get your sh*t together, Fazoli's. That's...
Read moreFor an Italian this would be a disgrace but I wish they would just try it. They would be as surprised as I was. My family and I were desperate for some Italian food but because of the holidays most places were closed this afternoon. So the only place we stumbled through was this. But we thought this was a regular Italian restaurant, not a fast food restaurant. We were disappointed at first but with no where to go, this was going to have to be it! The place itself did not look good. To be honest, it just looked run down, drafty, but we ordered anyway. We saw enough people inside eating as evidence that it would not be as bad. After a small misunderstanding we got our order straight and went to a table to wait for our food. I learned that bread sticks are free when you dine in so we had our share. I had some spicy sauce and noodles with sausage, wow! It was surprisingly good! That's the reason why I am even writing this to begin with, because I would have walked out if it had been bad and would not have bothered to write anything. The only observation I have for you guys is how drafty and just old. A fresh image would put this place on the radar like nobody's business; because your food is already good! So... The hardest part is already good. Now you guys just need to give the restaurant a face lift.
Thank you for the...
Read moreNormally I only posted reviews if a place is exceptionally good or bad. This unfortunately is on the latter end which is not my typical experience at this fazoli's.
First of all, I must have sat in line at the drive through for 30 minutes (two cars in front of me). Secondly, I was at the menu ready to order for about 15 minutes of that waiting for them to take an order. For the last 5 minutes, the drive through was EMPTY. Finally, I was at the window where I had to confirm my whole order once more.
Ordinarilly this still wouldn't be enough for me to post a review. This was:
Not 2 seconds after confirming my order, I was given the wrong meal, and they seemed to have no idea I ordered pizza and a drink with my actual meal. The slice of pizza looked like it had been cooked last week and left in the oven for days. I realized both of these issues, after pulling out of the drive through. I opted to cut my losses because I'm not spending an hour if my life in a drive through.
The only positive note: the soda was good.
The only reason this isnt a 1 star, is previously it was...
