South Philly Cheese Steaks — Restaurant in Brighton

The first time we ordered our kids chicken nugget meal was raw. It was late and we caught it before he ate them so we just passed it off as someone not paying attention. But seriously. Its a kids meal. That shoud be cooked fully no matter what. The second time we order i am told they no longer have veggie paninis on the menu but they will make it for me "just this once" when our food arrives my sandwich is cold and and not pressed at all. It looked like a cold hoagie from subway....seriously. So I called back to ask about whether or not their paninis were hot and I was told yes. Then I told her I had just ordered one and asked why it wasnt pressed or hot. She said they "press it on the flat grill and thats why they dont make them anymore because they just fall apart" Oh good lord. I wish I would have been told that instead of the " ill make it just for you bullshit" And THEN Breanna offered to give me her managers number who happened to be out of town. Honey no I do not want to call your manager who is out of town. I would think she would leave informed people to work....Two strikes. Seriously. Well I was pretty disappointed today with this place. First off, the price is astronomical for what you receive. I don't mind paying a little extra for a quality product that makes it feel ok to spend the money. 1) the sandwich isn't really very big, it's a bit on the small side for a $16 sandwich 2) The sandwich was ok, not bad, but also nothing to write home about. I guess what gets me is, after tip (because they were nice and pretty quick with my food) a sandwich and fries was $28. And like I said, it's not like this could feed me 3 times. I finished the sandwich but I did save some fries for later. I understand that prices have gone up on everything over the last few years. But when I decide to eat somewhere and spend the money, I just want it to feel worth it and happy that I splurged a bit to help a local business. Sadly, I will not be returning here for another meal. Ordered last week for dinner, got home realized both orders were wrong. (One was a large green chili philly, other being a medium the works). Both orders were the same size, unsure if they were both larges or both mediums, and both had green chili on it. As I was walking out I heard the cook say “those orders are so easy”. I called just to see if I could get a credit for in the future. I was told that there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could get a credit for in the future, which they said they are unsure but wrote down my info to have the manger call. I have since called multiple times to just check and see where we are at in the process of just having a credit. Nothing. The cook wasn’t wearing a mask either so depending on where you are at with everything going on, I wouldn’t blindly order from here. No mask, can’t get it right,...
