Please be sure to read all there commitment to excellence and providing a great enjoyable experience with great food was proven to me and will be to you by the time you finish reading this review. I had originally given them 2 stars. The menu had selections that were so narrow you felt cornered into a style of food that was really not tasty and was so strange to a normal palette. The food seemed over priced and what we ordered was sub standard for the high price paid. The sandwich was actually burned on the down side and I had to return it because the first bite tasted like burned toast and then when we recieved the bill they billed us for the original sandwich and the replacement. Had to point this out and one was removed. By the way the sandwich which was a special was really not good to taste at all and I could not eat it. My wife's soup was good but we will never return there again. It was clean and there were plenty of people working and they were friendly but way over priced poor quality food and served burnt food. I am going to add 3 stars to this review at this time due to conversations I had with 2 individuals at the corporate level which one was actually at location when I called there and this individual took his time to converse with me and hear out my experience during my visit and is adressing the issues of being served the burnt sandwich also offered me a visit of some enjoyable food on him and addressed that we were only given one menu upon our visit and not the other menus also by this corporate employee so by the end of our conversation we were both glad we had spoken. I informed them on my return visit I am declining the free food to maintain the integrity of my reviews but am very pleased with everything I heard at this time. And was also pleased fully by the conversation with the other corporate employee and with the time they spent so at this time I will give them 5 stars. Also will visit them again and try there food again after these conversations. Please take the time to enjoy there restraunts there working very hard to give you a great experience and great food I expect our experience was a rare one and not likly to happen again ty everyone who read all of this. And a big thankyou to Drakes...
Read moreFirst and foremost, it is important to properly describe your menu items. Ordering a "Juicy Lucy" at Drakes is amusing because it is simply a double cheeseburger. It is worth noting that Matt's Bar in 1954 originated the Juicy Lucy, which has become an American icon and landmark. It is unfortunate that Drakes insists on misrepresenting and mocking such an iconic American burger. One would hope that the owners would develop some tastebuds or even change the name to something that acknowledges it does not meet the high standards of a Juicy Lucy. Now that we have established the owners' attempt at clever naming, let us address the issues with the establishment.
Firstly, my beer had something in it and there was a significant number of fruit flies behind the bar, which suggests a lack of cleanliness. Additionally, it is concerning that the manager does not visit tables unless requested and, even then, after loudly addressing a customer as "sir," 3 times very loudly, he simply walks away after looking over at me. This story serves as a reminder not to have high expectations if you consider yourself a foodie.
It is disheartening to witness so many owners with sufficient funds to open a restaurant despite lacking the necessary skills or understanding. I will give Drakes another try and provide an update. It is crucial for employees to represent owners in a positive manner. However, the mishmash of Asian and American food on the menu is a direct reflection of the owner's choices.
In closing, I believe that Drakes is an overall okay establishment with decent intentions. However, it falls short in terms of the level of service and quality it could...

She said that was not how she wanted or expected her staff to behave. She assured me that she knew who each one was and that they would have a discussion. As an offer of good faith she said she wanted to provide us with a free meal. We appreciate her reaching out. Returning to their location will be reconsiderd.
March 11, 2025 4:00 pm for the first time in lost count visits we were extremely disappointed with Drakes. Walked in - Seated Ourselves - watched 1 waitress chit chat at a table and several others walked by us and not one stopped to see if we had been waited on. After 10 minutes went by and still no waitress ...no offer of water etc...so after speaking to male bartender to inquire if he was a manager I informed him of the situation and we left and drove up to Texas Roadhouse and received service immediately. Drake's managers need to sit down several waitress and discuss customer service. If they had been busy it would have been understandable but hardly anyone was in the place. We have had better service on a Saturday Night when UT was playing football. Based on this visit it will be a long time before we go back.
Second Visit. Enjoyed Drakes Chicago Roll first time ever...it was Awesome! Our waitress Courtney deserves All 5 Stars she was so helpful in our food choice and very knowledgeable. Chicken Chop Salad was really good too.
First time eating here. Enjoyed the BLT Tots they were a refreshing change to the traditional French Fries covered in something. Also enjoyed the All American Burger. We...
