Kickback Jacks — Restaurant in Bristol

Service is stellar. Top notch for the Bristol area. Their servers were very attentive and tag teamed the tables so no one ever went without a refill, etc.

RIBEYE & RIBS - 10/10. Huge portions = 3 days worth of meals for me! The steak was well seasoned and grilled to absolute perfection. The ribs fell off the bone and were covered in a deliciously sweet, slightly twangy sauce. They were phenomenal straight out of the fridge too!

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP - good but not as spicy as one made with Franks’s Red Hot. The pico de gallo on it was my favorite!

CARNIVORE FLATBREAD - was slap ya mama delicious and this is coming from someone that doesn’t eat that kind of stuff on pizza.

TAVERN NACHOS - meh. Piles of chips with a decent amount of queso, spicy chili (packs a surprising punch for those who like a nice bit of heat) about 2 tbsp of sour cream and pico and a handful of lettuce. We asked for more pico to eat with the remaining 3/4 of our chips and were charged for it. This is big enough to share as a meal for two but the minimal toppings leaves you with a pile of plain chips. For a quick app under $12, we would probably get it again.

BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAP - decent. Fried chicken tenders tossed in Buffalo sauce, smothered in ranch and wrapped in a tortilla. The wrap was pretty small and the fries were soggy, but fresh cut and well seasoned. It was tasty but Drake’s is about 2.5 times the size and out of this world delicious IF you’re in the market for one.

HOT FUDGE SUNDAE - this was a miss for me. Tastes like a generic boxed chocolate cake mix with cherry undertones.

COCONUT BERRY COOLER - just park me on a beach with this thing. You’re instantly transported to a place in one of Jimmy Buffett’s songs when you drink this. Light and refreshing. Not...

Avoid if you can. The management is piss poor. The servers want to give you top notch service making it a great experience for you, but unfortunately the management has other ideas. They do not put the guests needs first. A handicap/elder was sat at the furtherest table from the door walking with a cane. Read the guests! Common sense! Guests food take over 30 mins to come out. If there’s a mess up, don’t blame the server, blame the management. They are in such a hurry they don’t pay attention to the tickets and special requests. If you sat without being greeted for over 90 seconds- 10 mins, blame the management, not the server. Also beware of undercooked chicken, a few have gotten sick from the wings and buffalo wrap. They care more about the money, not the guests needs/wants. Don’t bother asking for more dressing, you’ll be charged after ONE; (two 1/2 ramekins. ) The napkins you ask for, they’re only allowed to give one per person and they are useless. If you need a to-go bag, be sure to ask! The servers aren’t allowed to bring one, though proper service and reading the guests is the correct way to do it without a guests having to ask. Common sense, ya know? It’s been over a month, and they can’t seem to get it together. BEWARE!...

I did not take pictures. First time going we were a group of four so we tried a little bit of alot of stuff to share etc. Fish and chips- Good, the tartar sauce is spot on and fries were good. It might be better if I asked for a lemon to go with it, the coleslaw I did not care for at all. Ribs, shrimp, sirloin and chicken tenders were all delicious too. Flatbread- I heard the Carnivore one is good, I opted for 3 cheese with 2 toppings and I did not care for it, it was the sauce for me but others at the table enjoyed it. Steak and Cheese Eggrolls-SHUT UP!!!! They were 🔥. Grilled Lemon Pepper and Honey Buffalo wings-----(see Steak and cheese eggroll remark lol) Hot fudge cake was good and not too sweet (which is good) The Strawberry Cake they have right now-It is a piece of heaven in your mouth! Let's get to service.... We had Zack as a waiter and he was freakin PHENOMENAL!!! He has such a GREAT personality and goals. He is such a ray of sunshine and so positive. He should be a Trainer, Leader, whatever it is....HE will go far no matter where he is but everytime I go back, I will make sure he is working.
