Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Brownsville

Came in 9•16•24 wanted a footlong Hotdog, it was good but I guess the bun is way smaller than the actual frank lol anyways I'd like a but more chili cheese in the Hotdog but I guess for now it was ok. Seem these fast food places adding less and less of how it should be or maybe was just a bad day. I'll re order it again hopefully soon. Was amazed they had crinkly fries those were very well made not to soft and not to hard yet well cooked and hot to order.

So I came in for a quick bite, and to my surprise, I wanted a burger without cheese, and there is none on the menu. Yet if you don't want cheese, they will omit it yet still charge you for it. Makes no sense, so why take it out if they still charge you for it. Funny, their competitors have burgers without cheese. Why don't they? No buyer, just know that if you order the number one without the cheese, you are still being charged. This is redunkoulous and the burger is cold too. So idk why they do that. Why don't they deliver it hot. It would be nice after all you pay a pretty good penny for your meal and expect it hot not cold. If that was the case. Throw it in your fridge if you prefer to eat a cold burger. Makes me so upset to pay for cold food. What's up with that yall?. Funny cold food and charge for cheese when you don't want it. Its a good sonic, has a nice playground. Still mess up our orders quite a bit.

Edited: The playground which my kids love and beg me to take them to is problematic. The area is filthy and there is a bad element in the other kids there. I have Autistic kids and recently we went there and there was a large group there and immediately upon my kids getting on the playground they were being bullied and had sand thrown at them. When told to stop by my wife the kids were very rude and disrespectful to my wife. The kids then proceeded to go lie to their own parents who were in no way watching them. We had quite a spat with the very entitled and unintelligent parents who have some very broken logic regarding safety. These other kids must go there often because they were bragging openly about how they harass other kids they don't like there on other occasions, so beware of other kids there if you care about yours.

In retrospect, sand is good for volleyball but is a bad idea for a playground and would be better for all if it were dug out and replaced with mulch or something like other playgrounds.

I had a long day at work and I needed something to eat so I stopped by Sonic for a quick bite. It was really late and they we're starting to close up for the night but I still placed my order just in time. When the carhop brought my food out he was super nice and he seemed to genuinely love and care about what he does. I believe his name was Justin, he asked me about my day and I ranted to him about how stressful it was and he told me to not give up and to rest up when I get home. I don't know why but this young man made my day, I was so happy with the service I went out of my car and asked to talk to a manager because of how polite Justin was towards me. Then I had a chance to talk to him and I told him he's gonna go far in life with his attitude and the respect he has. I just wanted to say that he honestly made my night and that sonic has the best customer service in all of RGV. Their employees are really nice and caring and they'd do anything to help you be satisfied. I hope he gets recognized for the amazing job he does and I hope y'all really go out to sonic and ask for him. His big smile and caring charisma would...
