I WENT TO SUBWAY IN POINT MORAINE PLAZA IN BUTLER PA. 16001. I HAD A COUPON WHICH SAID: $5.99 FOR ANY FOOT LONG PLUS A 20 OZ. DRINK. THE ONLY EXCEPTION WAS THE BRISKET. I ORDERED A FOOT LONG TURKEY & CHEESE. I PRESENTED THE COUPON WHEN I FIRST ENTERED THE STORE. THE GUYS MADE MY FOOTLONG, HANDED ME THE DRINK CUP, THEN, THIS WOMAN COMES OUT FROM THE BACK & SAYS: MY COUPON WON'T BE HONORED FOR THE FOOT LONG. THE COUPON CLEARLY SAID: ANY FOOTLONG FOR $5.99 PLUS A 20 0Z DRINK EXCEPT, THE BRISKET. SO, I JUST PAID WHATEVER IT WAS THEY CHARGED ME; WHEN I GOT HOME I CALLED THE CORPORATE OFFICE, GAVE THEM THE STORE NUMBER , THEY INVESTIGATED & SAID MY COUPON SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONORED., THEY ALSO SAID: THEY WOULD BE GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THE OWNER OF THE STORE & THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT THE REGIONAL OFFICE, BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEES AT POINT MORAINE WERE DEAD WRONG & NOT TRAINED PROPERLY. WHEN I WAS IN THE STORE THAT WOMAN SEEMED ARGUMENTATIVE, THAT'S WHY I JUST PAID WHAT SHE CHARGED & LEFT, THEN CALLED HER SUPERIORS. I HOPE THEY CORRECT THIS STORE. THIS IS WHY I HAVE TO GO TO OTHER TOWNS LIKE NEW CASTLE, MONROEVILLE, PITTSBURGH, ETC. TO GET A POSITIVE SHOPPING & FOOD BUYING EXPERIENCE ETC. Read moreWe visited this location on Friday evening for dinner. We ordered online, but planned to eat in the restaurant. When we arrived, our sandwiches were ready. We picked out some chips and waited for the person in line to finish their purchase. The employee, Linda, kept staring at us as we waited with an extremely rude look on her face. When we approached the register to pay for our chips and request cups for water, Linda very rudely asked what we wanted and very loudly told us that we had to buy a cup if we wanted water. Her demeanor and tone of voice were definitely not acceptable for someone in the customer service industry. Linda continued to glare rudely at us the entire time we ate our meal. She managed to be friendly and courteous to every other customer that entered the restaurant. She also managed to kindly tell them all thank you and have a nice evening when they left.
