Denny's — Restaurant in California

I got food poisoning here eating the brisket macaroni and cheese. I have emailed corporate and tried calling, but the corporate line hangs up after holding for over an hour, and this location’s phone line is busy when I call.

Do NOT eat the brisket macaroni and cheese here if it looks like my photo. It is not worth being the most expensive item on the menu for a few reasons, most important being that you may need to go to the hospital.

This is a health and safety hazard, and I’d like to be contacted by a manager/corporate and refunded for my meal. It was a horrible way to spend the day after Christmas, throwing up all morning.

The server was attentive and nice, but that made me not want to send this obviously old Kraft Mac and cheese and burnt meat chunks back. The sauce was the best part of the dish, but I’d recommend just ordering onion rings and bbq sauce.

I overheard the other table ask for a manager and got told that one wasn’t available. Kinda not my business, but I figure it’s worth mentioning, considering that getting support with any issue seems to be a really big challenge for Denny’s lately.

I am a dasher, and they literally had me waiting well over 30 minutes for an order that I was there to pick up. The wait times are ridiculous they almost never have the food ready when I get there, and it seems like in the afternoon, they can't handle doordash deliveries and the customer inside at the same time. They need to get off the doordash platform in the afternoon since they get too many customers.

Additionally, there was also a crazy mental lady who kept coming in and causing a ruckus, as she was hitting stuff in there and getting in people's faces. Instead of dennys calling the police or doing something to handle it, the employees were laughing, and somehow, the lady kept getting back inside the restaurant. They need to have security or something there since they know a lot of homeless and weird people hang around that area as someone could've gotten seriously INJURED!

And to top it all off, the customer called me after I delivered their orders and stated that dennys forgot some items from their orders, including condiments. This dennys is the worst as they are always severely lacking in something, whether it is the service or the food. Do not recommend it unless you go there in the morning and pick it up yourself to...

So my husband and I were up early and decided to go get breakfast and we had first stopped at two other restaurants that were closed and so we decided to go to Denny's cause we haven't been there for awhile. The place was basically a ghost town which is fine but weird for a Saturday morning. Anyways we both ordered the same thing T-bone Steak eggs hash browns etc and the food came out fast but as I received my food I had noticed something black under my hash brown I had picked it up and examined it and to my discover it was a cooked bug🤢 and a roach 🪳 to be exact🤢🤮 I had showed my husband and he was instantly repulsed. We had shown the server of what we found and she was kinda argumentive saying it wasn't what it was look I'm from the "hood" so I know what the roach looks like cooked or not. Anyhoo we weren't rude or anything we just wasn't going to pay for the extra "protein" so to speak, we understood that it wasn't the servers fault so we did tip her but needless to say that we are never going to eat there again. On top of there wasn't even a manager owner nobody in charge so who's running the...
