Say "cheese!" 🧀 No one would assert this is authentic Mexican food, but it sure is satisfying if you're drungry or have the munchies. Simple American "Mexican" staples like tacos, burritos, and nachos, just much fresher than somewhere like Taco Bell. Hot, fresh, homemade refried beans and freshly grated cheese are churned out in enormous portions. They really pack on the cheese generously, which is one of the things I love about this place. And I'm not talking about that crappy pre-shredded cheese that comes out of a plastic package and is covered in that weird powder that keeps it from sticking together. This is real cheese shredded fresh daily and doled out liberally.

Bean & cheese burritos come with either mild (red) or spicy (green) sauce -- or none, if you prefer, but I recommend some sauce, as the beans can, occasionally, be a bit dry and benefit from some moisture. Personally, I love the green sauce, which is slightly sweet. Of course, they're also famous for their hot sauce. It's peppery and slightly vinegary for those who have never tried it. Pepper like black pepper, not like jalpeĂąo pepper. Not too spicy but adds just the right amount of kick. They make fresh batches every day so the consistency can vary from day to day. I like it when it's thicker but occasionally it'll be a bit watery or too vinegary.

You used to be able to get a good-sized burrito for like a buck and 26 cents, but they've had to increase their prices over the years. It was either that or the portions had to get smaller.

This place is virtually a landmark in Campbell. Long-standing and beloved by its cult following. Drunks, in particular, love this late-night place after last call, so be warned if you go after midnight you might witness anything from mildly annoying to mildly entertaining antics. I at least take some comfort in the idea that Campbell bar-hoppers are sobering up a bit before going home. They can get really busy at night, especially on Taco Thursday and Tostada Tuesday.

If you've never been here before, the staff might come across as a bit curt, but when you become a regular, you realize that they really are nice people (and will even give you free food). They just don't seem interested in over-indulging in sycophantic niceties. Any staff regularly subjected to crazies, somnambulant stoners, and routy drunk people too frequently will surely grow a bit jaded. Come for the food; not for first-class table service. This is the kind of place you expect cheesy nachos and bubbly fountain drinks; not cheesy phonies with bubbly...

If you’re old enough to remember what Taco Bell USED to taste like, back in the 70’s & 80’s, when they were still using “real” meat & beans & cheese , then Taco Bravo will take you back to those “good ol’ days”. Even their homemade sauces (both the red taco sauce, & their delicious green sauce) taste like the OG Taco Bell sauces. & If you love cheese the way I do, you’ll be in 7th heaven, as they put about a half pound of fresh, shredded, mild cheddar on every item. Come on Tuesdays for $1.29 Tostadas, & Thursdays for $1.29 Tacos to REALLY get the most bang for your buck, but even on “regular” days, the prices are more than fair for the quality & quantity of food you get (their bean & cheese burritos for 3 bucks & change are HEAVY…). Everything is good here, from the nachos to the tacos to the burritos to the enchiladas & Chile verde. You literally cannot make a bad choice. My “go to” order is a Taco Delite (basically a “double decker” taco, with a crispy taco supreme- w/ sour cream & tomato- wrapped in a soft, refried bean covered flour tortilla) & a bean burrito w/ green sauce. True comfort food from a Bay Area original, always fresh & made...

Taco Bravo is the most amazing place to go for good, tasty, fast and affordable food. Dennis and Shawn Wuollet are the most friendliest and kind Owners that not only run the business but work with it as well. Everything from the Tostada Tuesday to Taco Thursday, the beef burrito, super nachos are extremely delicious. The Hot Sauce is made from Scratch and one of its best assets. They are wonderful with hiring individuals of all walks of life. The line is fast on making your orders.

They have an excellent reputation with businesses and also do catering services.

If you have any allergies to anything from cheese-onions-olives etc- let them know please. No need to complain or be rude.

BE LOUD AND CLEAR WHILE USING COMMON COURTESY AND KNOWLEDGE.

This is a busy location and Taco Bravo doesn't want to dissappoint you.

Weinerschnitzel is right next door and they share parking.

Outdoor seating is available as well as a few seats upfront.

Lines can be very long during Tuesdays and Thursdays. So if you are in a hurry I suggest you come early or later as they close at 3 am or on any other day- you...

Always a good choice for tacos, nachos, and burritos. Good for late-night comfort food. A beef burrito (after 10pm) with just beef, onions sauce and cheese, and you'll get over a pound of beef. Taco Delights are delicious, but eat them quick before they get soggy. It's not gourmet food, but they give fresh and generous portions! I'd give 5 stars, but maybe 2 out of 10 visits have been a bit rude and/or sloppy, and prices can be a bit high for four what you get, depending on the items... Pro tip: If you get super nachos to go, ask for chips on the side and you'll get a giant container with all the goodies and bag of chips separately, so they don't get soggy before you eat them and you'll have plenty to share. Everyone I've encountered has been friendly! I'm sure they deal with a lot from late-night customers, so if you're nice to them they'll probably appreciate it!

Pretty good. Came late on a Sunday night. They have 99¢ taco & tostada Tuesdays. They also have a $5 minimum for credit cards. The super taco is basically an extra long taco with ground beef or chicken, lettuce, tomato, and a bunch of shredded cheese. The enchilada is a chicken enchilada covered in cheese and sauce. Their medium spiciness brownish salsa is real tasty too. I put a good amount on my enchilada and I wasn’t disappointed. I highly recommend the chicken over the ground beef as the chicken was really tasty, juicy, and tender. The ground beef wasn’t good even half as flavorful in my opinion.

Deep regrets coming here! I got the chicken enchilada (pictured) and my husband got the super burrito with chicken. I only ate half of mine cuz I was starving. You can see in the picture the thick layer of cheese didn’t even melt and was grossly wrapped in seran wrap when we got it. Also unnecessary loads of salty meat. The whole thing was just way too salty/greasy/boring. I guess that’s why it’s a great place for drunk people and hence all the great reviews??? Waste of $13 for sure. La Superior Panadería y Taquería on Leigh Ave is WAYYYYY better! Sticking to that.
