KFC — Restaurant in Canton Township

So I just moved out here about 1year and 8 months ago . This is the closest KFC to me . Almost EVRERYTIME besides about 2or 3 times something had either been wrong with the service or my order. The cook had his rap music blasting and talks rude about the customers blatantly as if he’s annoyed they are asking for a napkin or some dipping sauce, the manager is rude as allllll get out ! She gets upset if you ask for fresh food because most times then none their food has been sitting a while especially the grilled chicken! I have worked in a fast food place for years I even made it to the managers position so I know how some customers could be rude or picky but I have always went in there with open arms and a nice understanding attitude and I have always been treated as if I’m bothering them for asking for a new piece of grilled chicken because it looks like it’s been sitting so long you can see how dried out and shriveled up it is. The manager and I got into it because she got so upset that I told her I didn’t mind waiting for them to bake new chicken because she was rolling her neck and eyes at her employee who told her I wanted new food .There have been times potatoes like TODAY have been missing from my order or jalapeño and when I ask for some it’s rudely thrown in my bag and ends up spilling all over the rest of the food. The cookies have never been fresh they are always super old and taste like metal of the baking sheet they use to make them .. over all I will not EVER recommend anyone go to this KFC and new management needs to step in or somethings need to change . My experience tonight was one of the worst ever at KFC. First of all, I wanted to order the chicken and waffle bundle deal and she says we don’t have fries. (Usually when you first pull up to many fast food places they inform you that they’re out of certain things). So I asked could I order the late night meal and she says she couldn’t find it to ring it up 🤦🏾‍♂️!! So after 5 mins of trying to figure it out she then says I found it—ok. So I asked for 3 late night meals and asked could she sub the fries for 3 Mac’s. She said ok and then I pulled around. I paid and she said go around to the front door, I repeated back to her the front door? She said yes the front door. I get around and I’m sitting there. She didn’t say sir can you pull around we are still waiting on your order. She says pull around to front door so I’m not sure what I’m doing. So after about 5 mins I go in and get welcome with a rude staff saying you’re not supposed to be in here I said well that’s my food. He said ok but the inside is closed your not supposed to be in here in the first place!! Then she said I told you I’ll bring it out to you. I said no you just told me to go to the front door. And now it’s a back and forth thing. Then she just said HERE!! with my order as to say good bye!! When I get home I noticed they charged me for 4 meals instead of 3–I assumed that because they couldn’t find the meal I asked for on the register, that they just pieced some items together to make a meal—I was just ready to go!!

When we arrived at the drive thru microphone to order, we were greeted by a somewhat hostile employee who told us that they were out of almost everything, then gave us a list of what they had. It was hard to understand what he was saying over the microphone, so we decided to just get a couple chicken littles as a snack to tide us over.

We were charged $4.69 for two snackers, which would have been ok if there had been a little more chicken in them. What we got was a tiny lump of chicken that was mostly breading and very little actual chicken. It was loaded with mayonnaise (that we didn't ask for) and 1 pickle. It was on a slider bun, and it tasted like all we had were mayonnaise sandwiches. AND they were barely lukewarm.

I really like KFC when they do it right, but it seems like it is getting harder and harder to find a good location, we will never go back to this one.

I am getting really tired of fast food places using COVID as an excuse to sell substandard food and poor service. If they are understaffed and can't operate properly, they should stay closed. I am tired of throwing away my money.
