It saddens me to leave this 1 star review for a chain restaurant that I do love. Growing up I would choose KFC as my birthday dinner and looked forward to the “laptop” meal as well as the buffet. KFC no longer has the laptop meal and therefore does not have it displayed on their menu (obviously). I know they have closed most buffets as there are no longer Buffet signs at KFC locations with the buffet stations removed but I had read online there are still a small amount of KFC locations with a buffet however, not specified which locations. As I was driving I noticed a KFC I hadn’t yet been to with a big sign on the building reading “Colonels Buffet All You Can Eat”” along with the tall sign near the road which also read “Buffet All You Can Eat”. With a flash back to my childhood and tons of excitement I could not wait to go inside and finally enjoy the long awaited buffet. I opened the doors and could even see the buffet station labeled “HOT BUFFET” and “COLD BUFFET” just like they had always been. I was over the moon happy! Although, once again, I was quickly let down. As I approached the buffet station and could now see the entirety of the station I learned there was no hot nor cold buffet. The station had been filled with drink lids, straws, sauce packets and emptiness. All of my excitement went out the window and I was left with the question how that buffet sign is still outside misleading individuals like myself. KFC needs to correct their advertising if something is no longer offered on the menu. This location needs a new sign and renovations to their building to remove the buffet station. Very very misleading. Not a happy customer. I am let down every time I drive by that location and continue to see the...
Read moreAfter waiting at the counter for 5 or 6 minutes, with no one in front of me, the worker finally came over and apologized and took my order. I said no big deal. I placed my order and went to sit down and wait for it. About 15 minutes later, I was told by the same worker that they were going to drop some fresh fries and to give them about 5 more minutes. I kindly said no problem, I'm just in a hurry to get home and watch some WWE with my family tonight. And I was super nice. Approximately 10 minutes later, I was told that the three breasts that I had added to my order were not ready and they needed another 5 minutes or so. Becoming aggravated, I still remained nice, and sweetly reminded him that I'd already waited 5 minutes that turned into 10 and I just want to get my food and go home. I then waited, and waited, and waited some more. When they finally handed me my order, it had been 36 minutes since I had placed the order and paid for my food. I was handed my beverage cup to fix my drink, and found no ice at the machine but instead of asking for help just decided to leave. Other customers were coming in and just getting ignored and leaving. Upon arriving home 10 minutes later and opening the bucket of chicken, we found that every piece of chicken in the bucket was mushy and the skin with all the flavorings was either peeled off or in a pile of mush. Not one piece of chicken had the coating on it. I paid $35 for three of us to eat, which isn't bad, but after the service and poor quality of the food I'm going to contact the headquarters and try to receive a refund. Yum brands would not want to be...
Read moreMy mother in law decided to spend her last $36 from her Social Security check on our dinner tonight. We ordered the 10 piece feast, and somehow a free chicken sandwich came with the meal. We were told 10 minutes. We waited 15 before we left the house. We arrivved 24 minutes after ordering. We were asked to take a seat as it would be another 5 minutes or so. I asked my daughter if she wanted to sit at this dirty table, or that dirty table? All of the tables were dirty that we saw, so we went to wait in the car. I told my daughter I wanted to take a fresh towell inside with my aerosol cleaner to wipe down all the tables. She wouldn't let me because I wasnt getting paid to do it and that it wasn't my job. Came back in 7 minutes later, picked up the order and left. Arriving home, we had 7 pieces, not 10. The mashed potatoes were not very tasty. The cole slaw was decent, but the chicken was a sad excuse for fried chicken. Threw the chicken in the trash and drove to Publix to buy fried chicken. Now we had good fried chicken to go with the cole slaw. Bought a family size container of Bob Evans mashed potatoes at publix when i picked up the chicken. Saturday night, and we only saw 2 employees working. Where did the famous recipe slip away to? Wont ever come back, and I've been in this city for 40 years. Gordon Ramsey needs to step in and fix this broken establishment. I cant figure out how to add the photos, probably better no one else sees...
