McDonald's — Restaurant in Cape Coral

Truly, one of the worst experiences I've had, in a long time. I was out driving for Uber and hadn't had dinner, and it was well past 2 am, and I just wanted something tasty and quick. I didn't expect too much. I ordered a basic quarter pounder with cheese, and a McGriddle with cheese and a soda. (Please don't judge me. I was hungry, exhausted and hormonal!) I noticed the menu boasted their meat for this burger was "always fresh", so when I finally reached the first window, after a very long wait, I asked what that meant. Did it mean that the meat was never frozen? After the worker held her finger up to put me off for a couple of orders she took over the speaker, she then said to hold on while she asked her manager. She came back after a couple of minutes, by this point I'm inching my car up toward the second window, because I am holding up the line. She came back and said that her "manager doesn't know" and "sorry, please pull up to the next window", I "can call corporate if I want". When I reached the second window, I figured my previous delay would mean my order was definitely ready for me to grab and go. It was not. As I awaited the employee, that looked none too happy to be there, to give me my drink and bag, I asked if I could have a few packs of mayonnaise (Again, I beg that you do not judge me). She said they don't have any. I'm shocked that a McDonald's "doesn't have any" mayonnaise, and if that is the case, I would think they'd remedy that problem very quickly, considering it seemed like their biggest traffic times were in the dead of night, when there are no other 24 hour food establishments open. When I did break open this cheeseburger, the bun was quite stale and, of course, I had no mayo. The soda was also a weird taste, and that is one thing that McDonald's has always gotten right, and above expectations. Their soda is typically amazing. I was just really disappointed. I'm not a McDonald's regular, so it could've just been an off night. I hope my review reaches that store's manager, and the problem is taken care of, and other late night warriors are once again served their favorite fast food treat, in the most delicious and expidiant of...

So, it had been an amazing but long day: I’d been at the hospital watching my daughter give birth to my first grandchild😇and wanted to reward myself with a treat. Problem was, it was late and I found nothing open except this McDonald’s, which I thought might be abandoned. It was, in fact, open - barely. It took several minutes for the one car ahead of me to order, then I was asked to wait as well. When I got to the window, I said the amount and the server said, “I don’t know, whatever they quoted you.” Huh? I gave her the money, she went to the register, came back and said something about a slushy and I said “yes” and she walked away. I sat there. She came back and said, “Didn’t you get your slushy? You said you got it”. Mind you, there is ONE person in the place and she didn’t know?! I watch as she NOW MAKES the slushy I couldn’t possibly have received because it didn’t exist🤯. Never again, folks. This is in Ft. Myers. I don’t know how they’ll stay in business if they can’t hire and serve...

I visit this McDonalds 4-6 times a month to get my food and have never been given an sort of issue about ordering my food but tonight was a nightmare and I'll never return there for any type of food and will also not be recommending anyone to ever go there, I asked for my typical mcdouble with Mac sauce and was told they cant so that anymore corporate stopped allowing them to do that 6 weeks ago...well funny story I went there 5 days ago and it wasnt an issue but your gonna sit and lie to me and tell me I didn't recieve that exactly order 5 days ago? Then you tell me I can order a double cheese burger with mac sauce so i say yeah i do that, then deny me again and say never mind cant do that either...ok that's fine, I said okay no thank you I'm good here then, and left, the person taking orders was rude about everything aswell and I will not be returning. This happened around 10pm so if your feeling McDonalds around 10pm take your money elsewhere because this place doesn't offer good service...
