Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Carmel

I ordered it maybe around 7:30-7:40 for delivery and around 8:45 I called to check on it since we only live six minutes from that location. I was informed that he tried to deliver it, but because he couldn’t call me, he brought it back to the store. I had the wrong phone number which has since been updated. The store sent it back out. He called me saying I need to come out to the car and when I didn’t really respond to that because I didn’t feel comfortable doing that because it’s late at night and it’s just me a young woman with a baby I need to come out to get my order. I left the note saying, leave it outside the building and prepaid to avoid this having. I was also in the middle of breast-feeding my child. When I get out there, he pulls up really fast where I had to back up because it made me nervous. He then stated that he didn’t drop it off because I couldn’t come out and get it even though I’ve already paid and left the note. He then proceeded to have me fill out gratuity form. I had already filled out online. I feel that is the only reason he did not follow. The instructions is because he wanted me to fill out the additional gratuity form, which I feel is very inappropriate. I have ordered here multiple times for lunch delivery. This last time was the final straw. The order ultimately ended up being correct, after 55 minutes to deliver.

I was assured at 40 minutes after ordering that it would be delivered soon, and 5 minutes later the online order status said it was. However, my sandwich hadn't actually arrived.

I called again and was informed that the driver had left my sandwich at the store, and was on his way to deliver it straight to me. I was offered a credit for "A free side, or something of that sort" which I politely declined. I will no longer be ordering Jimmy John's for lunch as this store is the only one that will deliver to me, and it consistently takes 45+ minutes to deliver.

I like the food, but the delivery times are appallingly bad. I would normally pick it up since the store is only 5 minutes away, but since my car was in the shop, I had to opt for their delivery, which I expected to be slow.

I suppose I should have learned from the past, but the fact that they offered a free side seemed nearly insulting given how long it took. In any case, I would advise against ordering delivery from this location, as they seem to lack basic skills in getting delivery orders out in a...

The absolute worst Jimmy John's I've ever patronized. Have ordered delivery three times over the past year and 2/3 of the orders have either not shown up, or been 20 minutes late AND incorrect after being told over the phone they had 0 deliveries currently. I live 2.1 miles from the store. The first time we waited almost 2 hours for the sandwiches, and when I called they hadn't even been made yet. So I cancelled the order. Second time was fine. This time (3rd) they said they had 0 deliveries currently so the sandwiches would be here at 2:50. Showed up at 3:15, and the order was incorrect. It was 2 basic sandwiches. Not exactly rocket science. So I called back and was promised a remade sandwich. That was 15 minutes ago (2.1 miles from the store) and we're still waiting for our sandwiches so we can eat and leave. I'll never patronize this store again. I hope the franchise...
