After reading the reviews we were excited to check it out. However, we didn’t receive the same vibe as many had spoken about. The service was absolutely poor. The gentleman that served us looked like a family member of the owner. I could be wrong. But the other servers had to pick up all his faults. He gave us our drinks including soda with no ice. Not to mention he never asked us for what we wanted to drink. Just a minute before our food came out he just gave us 3 waters mind you there was 4 of us. After our meal came out my husband had to ask him for a drink. Not cool. We let him know from the beginning that I had sesame seed allergy so he said that he would bring us bread without it. Instead he brought us the one with seeds anyways after waiting almost 15 minutes. Then I reminded him no seeds and he went back and told them. We ordered hummus and they brought that out right away but what were we supposed to eat with it? He left and didn’t even say a word to us. Just rude! We were just sitting there waiting until we realized that the owner sitting there doing his bookkeeping didn’t care. He was gone and now the other two wait staff were left to pick up his work. They had no idea what was going on but they gracefully took care of us. Which this shouldn’t have happened. I do also want to point out that the waiter took on 2 other tables and we watched him take care of them before he left. Their drinks had ice and they even got refills but we didn’t. Just disappointing We got our meal and it wasn’t bad but definitely had better. I think after reading so many great reviews I was hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it only took a waiter to ruin it. If they are family and they are working they should still treat customers with kindness, respect and dignity. Because if they were outside hired employees they wouldn’t tolerate it. As much as I hate to say it but I believe race and culture played a big...

Had really bad experience last weekend, we usually go quite often there. This time we were party of 10, placed the order together for 5 mix grill plates, food took longer than usual to come even though it was empty compared to their usual busy Sundays. Only 3 mix grill came and they said the other 2 are coming, but guess what the other 2 came after more than 30 mins after everyone ate already and the people who came after us they had their food way earlier. No single apology was given for the delay from any of the staff members but the worst part was that we ordered beef shish kebab for my son and the beef was undercooked, my husband tried one and couldn’t chew it so he placed it in a tissue, my son did the same and I ate one to try it so I told my husband to tell them it’s not good because we shouldn’t pay for something which is undercooked and we didn’t technically eat it or enjoy it. But the shocking part was when we’re paying the waiter told us that the kitchen said we cannot cancel it because we ate some of it!!!!!! So I was like excuse me, do you want ys to return the food back in the plate if we couldn’t chew it? And my husband told him that they are in the tissues if they want to check it. That was a really bad experience which we never experienced in any other restaurant, when something similar happens they take it off the check straight way to satisfy the customer!!! Our check for our party of 4 was almost 100$ (we had 3 separate checks) so do you think 10$ meal would make a difference for us to go through this awful experience???? But guess what the action from the restaurant really made us very disappointed to the point that we will never...

We have had dinner here a few times and the service has never been good. It seems like it gets worse and worse with each visit. Obviously, we enjoy the food here and that is the only reason why we come here but after my last two visits we will not come back anymore. Every time we come here the waiters are rude and ignore us. I am very patient because they get quite busy, and I completely understand. But all the waiters seem to lack skills. We usually always wait over 30 minutes to get the check and must hunt down a server to get it EVERY time. The waiters are extremely quiet and very awkward which always makes us feel very uncomfortable. They just seem not to care for their guests. The other night we were in the area and decided to have dinner at Bosphorus. Before we headed to the restaurant, we thought we will call and see if they have any tables available since we were a party of six. We were five minutes away and they told us that they still have plenty of seats and tables and to just come in. Once we got there, we were completely ignored by the staff. We were left just standing with six people at the entrance. There were multiple waiters looking right at us without greeting us or say anything. After five minutes a waiter finally approached us. He did not greet us or anything but just told us that they do not have a table left for us. He said, “look around…no table” and then immediately left. I cannot believe how rude he talked to us and how disrespectful he treated us. This was our last time coming here! This rate is not about the food. The food is good, but the service is not...

So I went here with my buddy. In all honesty, this food is mediocre. Some things were good, others were fine. We started off with 2 appetizers. One was the Bosphorus Meze Platter. Which was nice because you got a little bit of everything. The Hummus (good), Baba Gounush (very good), Ezme (fine), Tabouli (very good), stuffed grape leaves (very good) and eggplant salad (fine) with some cucumber dip (good). Also got the Cigar Bourek, which almost were like better taquitos. For the main entrees I got the Ali Nazik. Which was tasty, the marinara was mediocre, honestly better when you combine it with the yogurt garlic sauce. The bread included was fine. But the lamb was cooked very nice. We also got the mixed grill kebab, which was a little bit of everything. The lamb was good, the chicken was fine, a little dry, the gyro meat was fantastic and the kofta was a little dry. The pilaf was a bit unseasoned, but not bad. Then for dessert we got the baklava and Sutlac…. Both which were nothing mind blowing. I also got there Ayran, which tasted terrible honestly. I love trying new things and open to anything, this drink is not it. Not to mention the server didn’t react to me telling him it was bad, no reaction. I work in the industry and usually you ask if you can get something in replace of it and take it off the bill. That didn’t happen, didn’t bother me too much, but still think the server needs to be aware. I ended up asking for the Uludag Gazoz, which was a refreshing soda.
