Mahana Fresh — Restaurant in Cary

Listen I’m a normal guy just wanting good food so I’ll keep it straight. I don’t really care about the healthy stuff but this place was not only healthy but very tasty. Whoever was in the back cooking knew a thing or two on how to season. They use chicken thighs here, THANK LORD, so it’s just a better bowl in general. The veggies were surprising fresh and juicy I really liked the tomatoes a ton and the brussel sprouts were delicious! I actually tried every sauce while there and they all were great. For a normal guy like myself it’s good and it gets the job done I had enough leftover for a second serving for my dinner as well. The price wasn’t too bad either no different than CAVA honestly. They were chill too so I’ll be back...

Everyone in our party felt food was mediocre. Small portions for the price. Dish included what seemed to be "boiled" chicken that wasn't cooked enough. It also had some warm salty broccoli, really long green beans that were tough to eat, and a pretty bland sauce. No real flavor. FYI, tons of the owner's friends were their and imagine most of these 5 star reviews are from them. So use your own judgement. But places like Meza and even Tzitiki have much better bowls. But decor was nice and service. But will not repeat. Was very disappointed...

Really great experience!

Food tasted great and I felt great after. Amazing alternative to the usual Mexican and Mediterranean bowl spots. Menu had good variety and was filled with delicious healthy options. Especially impressed with the quality of the produce, everything was exceptionally fresh which is not very common with other restaurants.

Atmosphere was nice, boasting a clean and well decorated interior with plenty of seating space. Service was friendly, articulate, and quite fast.

Will definitely be coming back to try the other...
