It's interesting how different people have such different experiences at the same place, but all I can say is that's how it goes in a world operated by mere humans.
Recently I finished a Google review on another Subway location in Aurora, and began by writing, "This was the worst Subway experience I've ever had in my life, and we visit Subway restaurants quite a lot." I'm going to begin this review the same way, but in complete antithetical reverse.
This was the BEST Subway experience I've ever had in my life, and we visit Subway restaurants quite a lot! Truly, everything they do here is exactly the way it should be done at ALL Subway locations -- not just the excellent ones.
Jay and Micha are remarkably efficient and professional, not to mention warm and amiable. They work great together as a team, and make their sandwiches exactly as ordered, if not even a little better, which is exceptional. It's almost as if they can read hearts and minds.
All the ingredients were clearly fresh and visually appealing, the bread was truly perfect, and the toppings were ideal. There was no skimping on portions, either, which says a lot about the store and its employees.
I know it has to be challenging to be this good (especially as a sandwich artist) in a location that seemed to be fairly busy for a late Sunday morning, but Jay and Micha are -- pardon the cliche -- crushing it at what they do. I can't find enough words to thank them for such a wonderful, satisfying experience.
We will definitely visit this location again whenever we're nearby. I hope it's as first-rate the second...
Read moreService today was the worst customer service we have ever received, anywhere! Vinny was helping us and working hard, he was completely on his own helping everyone in line, restocking the food he needed and completing to go orders. There were 5 people in line in front of us and we waited 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches. This was not because of Vinny who was doing his best to complete everything on his own, but because of a rude employee named Kim standing in the back doing absolutely nothing to help. She was loudly yelling at Vinny and laughing at him in front of everyone telling him to complete pick up orders (and did nothing to help him or the customers waiting in line). He even had to go to the back and restock spinach on his own for an order, which was what she claimed to be doing when we said something at the end. The entire 30-35 minutes we were in the store to get a to go order she filled one container of lettuce for him and did nothing but talk down to him and rudely give attitude to him. When we got to the front we told him he needs to find a better job because that is not how employees should be treated and he stated she was the managers daughter so there was nothing he could do. She even came up at the end and said (in front of us) “see you got the line” like she was purposefully not helping. I said to her she made people wait over 30 minutes for no reason and she laughed and said she was refilling the line for him and walked away. So sad that a company would allow staff member’s to be treated that way and that Kim thinks she is so untouchable and clearly has...
Read moreClean store, no issues, friendly staff. Really hoping the MANAGER will read this;
Oct. 30th around 2:25pm, another customer arrived shortly after me to place her order, I was eating my lunch quietly outside with my mother because it was such a beautiful day.. then was ruined by this customer approaching us with her complaints about an expired coupon, and couldn't understand why they wouldn't take her coupon. I expressed to her TWICE that she was rudely interrupting my lunch, and ended up having to walk away because she kept going on. To be clear, it was NOT the three ladies' fault who had been working during this time. The coupon was EXPIRED, she showed me during her tantrum..
Your staff is wonderful, clean place, and the sandwich was cooked perfectly (: Thank you, Subway Staff! Don't let angry people (who clearly cannot read) get you down during...
