Dungeon Master's Log: Quest for the Perfect Feast
Setting: You and your party of adventurers have journeyed long through treacherous lands, battling fierce creatures and traversing perilous terrain. Exhausted and famished, you come upon an inviting tavern—its warm glow beckoning from within the dense forest. As you enter, you are greeted by the scent of sizzling meat and the unmistakable sound of tankards clinking together in camaraderie.
Objective: To partake in a legendary feast of chicken wings and ale, the likes of which are said to replenish even the most fatigued of adventurers.
Rewards:
The Wings: Each wing is a hearty potion of nourishment, grilled to golden perfection. The crispy exterior gives way to tender, juicy meat, coated in a variety of magical sauces. Choose your path:
Spicy Ember: For those who seek to test their mettle, this fiery sauce will challenge even the bravest. (Constitution saving throw required: DC 15 to avoid a fiery burn!) Sweet Honey Glaze: A more subtle approach, with a rich sweetness that will charm your taste buds. (Charisma bonus for social encounters increased by +2 for the next hour!) Garlic Parmesan: For a taste as bold as a barbarian’s war cry, this sauce is sure to please those with a discerning palate. (Advantage on Wisdom saving throws for the next combat encounter.) The Ale: The tavern offers a selection of brews that could fuel even the longest of campaigns.
Dwarven Stout: Rich and hearty, with a flavor as deep as the mines. Perfect for bolstering your strength after a long day’s journey. (Gain temporary hit points: +5 for the next hour.) Elven Pale Ale: Light and refreshing, this brew calms the senses and restores focus. (Advantage on Perception checks until the next long rest.) Halfling Honey Mead: A sweet concoction that will lift your spirits and bring a smile to any adventurer’s face. (Increases your Charisma by +1 for the next hour.) Environment: The tavern is bustling with activity, its stone walls adorned with trophies of past adventures. The staff, ever the hospitable hosts, ensure that your needs are met quickly and with a smile. You feel a sense of warmth and camaraderie, as if you’ve joined a guild of kindred spirits. But alas, beware the mar maid, for she may become apoplectic if provoked. Stay on her good side and they will be fair times had by all.
Special Instructions: You and your party must decide which wing sauces to sample and how many beers to order. Beware, overindulgence may lead to a temporary disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws (due to the effects of the food coma or drunken stupor).
Quest Outcome: Successfully completing this feast will reward your party with full bellies, heightened morale, and a +1 to all social interactions for the next adventure. The wings and beer are just the beginning—the true treasure lies in the fellowship and stories shared around the table.
Final Verdict: This tavern is an essential stop on your journey, one that guarantees you’ll leave satisfied and ready for whatever encounters lie ahead. Gather your party, roll for initiative, and...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star I would. This was by far the worst experience Ive had at any Restaurant. This is not at all the fault of our waiter, however, he was super nice and tried his best on a busy Saturday night (and I also think he was new). First, the music was so loud, too loud to even hear each other talk. We later found that it was too loud for our waiter to hear us because he messed up two of our orders. After waiting a half hour for our food, two people from our party had to wait another 10 minutes to get our order corrected. Then we asked for our checks to be separated but were never asked how so we each received individual receipts (3 of the 5 were messed up)! We told the waiter what to fix and guess what....some were still messed up. After another half hour just to pay we finally got our corrected receipts. We then left and after pulling into Kohl’s right down the road I realized I forgot my box of left over wings I was planning to bring home to my fiancé. I was up at 5 AM and it was my fault but I thought I would call and see if they were still there (literally 2-3 minutes after leaving). All I was told over the phone was people leave their leftovers all the time so we just throw them away and I’m sorry. Note we spent about 1.75 hours there and were not offered anything to make the screw ups right and I lost over $8 worth of food. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK to Buffalo Wild Wings ever. I’m am not one to complain because I know the waiter was trying his best but a manager or someone should have made this right and the employees should be trained better before being thrown out with no...
Read moreVery disappointed, order wings they took over 45 minutes to bring them out. Waiter was very rude when I asked why there was only 22 wings when i ordered 30. Its 1$ a wing and they were short 8 wings. Ordered fries with my meal did not receive them until after i paid and was about to walk out the door. My honey bbq was not honey bbq. Waiter was not interested on serving us. He was to busy talking to his friend's the hole time ever sense we came in and sat down. Everytime i asked for something it would take forever for him to bring it back or sometimes would forget to bring it out i had to keep asking. When i asked for more ranch he would go right over to his friends and talk for minutes on end. Asked for manager he came out made a big deal about messing up 30 wings defending the cooks in the kitchen said he failed high school 3 time's and math is really hard and kept making excuses. Left tonight unsatisfied having stomach pains and still hungry because half tge food i ordered was not brought out until my bill was paid and the stuff brought out i ordered was nasty cold and seamed very old and left out. Bill was 80$ for food that was over priced and not anywhere near good. Hope i don't get...
