Must try! Delicious local food in a quiet, cozy restaurant. We went there around 3pm, and there were still several tables (locals and tourists) enjoying their meals. My friend ordered the shrimp curry with rice and peas and fried sweet plantains. And I had the conch curry, also with rice and peas and fried sweet plantains. (You can choose your own side dishes...). Both dishes were sooooo good. They were generous with the amount of shrimp and conch, and the conch was very tender. The rice and peas were cooked perfectly, and so were the plantains. We also shared the conch fritters - another must-try dish. Service was good and the people so friendly. Adeline, who's a sweetheart, took care of our table. I wish I could go back for another meal, but I was only in town for a few hours. Will be dreaming of the conch curry tonight LOL

I had the pleasure of visiting The Tuck Shop for the very first time late last year of 2024 and for the second time last week Thursday & Friday, yes I eat there twice, four times to be exact in two days. This place have the best local food menu throughout the island. I had their fried fish, jerk wings, conch fritters, oxtail dinner. Let me save you the drive and time. You won't regret it. It's located in the heart of downtown. Thank me later.

Great lunch at The Tuck Shop Downtown. I had the curry goat and my wife had the jerk chicken. Both were authentic, flavorful, and delicious. They came with 2 sides, and were generous sized portions that we couldn’t finish. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and relaxing. It was a great escape from the heat to sit in the ac for a while. This is an amazing local spot you don’t want to miss.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered a fried shrimp sub with lettuce, tomato, pickled onions on a sub roll. Received 5 grilled shrimps on a hamburger bun with a piece of limp lettuce without pickled onions for $20.00 When asked waitress about onions she said "no" until I pointed out the description in the menu. She asked if we wanted the onions and we replied yes and all she brought us were raw onions. Food was brought to 3 of the 4 of us and we had to ask for the 4th persons soup order at which the reply was "oh, you want soup". Soup was delivered 25 minutes after. When talking to waitress about food and prices, waitress replied "I just work here". When talking to manager about service and food the response was "oh well". The bill had an automatic 18% top that was mandatory. The bill had a link to leave a review which when attempted was blocked. Run fast do not slow down and enter. Worst...

The service was horrible, the food was not much better. My fried shrimp sub that was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, and pickled onion, came with 1/2 of a limp leaf of romaine lettuce, a slice of tomato, 5 pieces of shrimp that were almost the size of a quarter and were NOT fried, and no onion of any kind all of which was served on a hamburger bun for the ridiculously overpriced cost of $20. We were never offered water, although other customers were. We tried to address our concerns - server’s response was “I just work here”, manager could not have cared less. The bathroom needed a lot of attention. To add insult to injury, a 18% tip was added to our check without our permission and the manager refused to remove it. Do not recommend. One star only because I...
